First experience at Blu. It's a Choice hotel brand, so get your points as a privilege member. Overall, good experience. Super fast check-in, which is one thing I prioritize. Great location with plenty of shopping, eating, and experiences. My king room was probably considered a suite and was huge. Nice mini fridge, microwave, bar area. Bed was comfy, but the 4 pillows were miniature sized. It seems to be an older building with lots of fresh paint and the decor, in my opinion, is outdated. All said, I would stay y here again but would look at my other options also.For those who care, outdoor pool only, no spa.Nearby activities: Close to dining, shopping, and entertainment.

Absolutely thrilled with our experience at The Blu Hotel!From the moment we stepped through the doors, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Their friendliness and warmth made us feel right at home.A huge shoutout to The Blu Hotel for hosting our NYE 123123 (12/31/23) wedding. It was a day to remember! The rooms were not only comfortable but impressively clean, even under blacklight inspection. The beautiful portraits on the walls added a touch of elegance, and the balcony photos captured priceless moments.Kudos to The Blu Hotel and its outstanding team for making our celebration truly special. Loved staying at this hotel. Front desk employee was very friendly. The room was cool. The complementary breakfast was good. Overall pleasant stay!! If we are back in the area will definitely want to stay here.

Was driving through Cinncinati and needed a place to stay for the night. Couldn't believe how hard it was to find a decently priced hotel without one bad review or another (just look at the Hyatt and Hilton next door). Then I stumbled across this place because it was cheap for the night and I was pleasantly surprised. Clean rooms, comfy bed, free breakfast and did I mention the manager is a good guy. I assume since it's a two star hotel that it doesn't have all the amenities and services as it's counterparts but honestly if you don't need all those bells and whistles then this could easily be a 4-star hotel. If you're in Blu ash or need a place to stay around the Cinncinati area I would sincerely recommend you try this place out.Noteworthy details: When I walked into the hotel it has a upscale atmosphere which I wasn't expecting. Also if you're a lover of art then there's loads of paintings which you can look at and appreciate.

It was "fine". Service was good, breakfast was excellent. I like that there is EV charging as well. But why is there no cold water from the tap? Both shower and sink were either hot or hotter. Cleaning could be better also; there were stains on the sofa arms. It was also very noisy with the people in the next room going in and out 20+ times during the late evening and slamming the door each time. The prices were elevated for some reason when we stayed (wasn't Taylor Swift weekend) so it didn't feel like a good value. If the price was lower, I would have rated it higher.

Stayed for a Saturday night. It's an interesting hotel that could suite the right traveler. It's clearly an old hotel that was recently renovated and cleaned up. The common area is large and there are a number of smalls nooks for people to hang out. The old hotel charm is still there and it's a unique facility. It's fairly well maintained for being a low to mid range hotel.The two twin bed suite is massive and easily accommodated my family with room to spare. The outdoor pool was nice.The downside was there was a light out in the bathroom and it felt like the renovations could have gone a little deeper. The location is abour 25 minutes from downtown Cincinnati so it's a bit further of a hike than I expected. Also, our TV stopped working.If you are traveling with a large group or with a family it's a good option with it's extra space. Just understand that it's a 2 star, midrange hotel that is a good bang for the buck.Rooms: Large rooms.

When I arrived at the hotel, the first issue was that the wrong room had been reserved; the first room I was put in was filthy, so they moved me to another one, which they made me check out. I looked around and thought it looked better than the first room, so I said okay later to discover it had bugs, so I took pictures. The manager says they called pest control, who said there were no bugs, but they haven't provided any documentation or a report to back up their claim. Despite the fact that I never even spent the night there, they refused my request for a refund of my money, which is absurd given that I made the staff aware of my concerns. I checked out the same day since I could no longer tolerate the bugs jumping on me from the bed. This was the first time in my entire life that I had ever stayed in a hotel, and it was a horrible experience. Even when I attempted to sit in the desk chair, I could feel something jumping on the bottom of my legs, possibly fleas. It was terrible. All of my clothes had to be washed. I put my belongings down when I initially checked in at the hotel because I didn't imagine a hotel, especially one that charges almost $100 per night, would have bugs. I had to leave the hotel several times, and each time I did, the bugs followed me on my clothing to my car this is before I realized they had bugs. While I was driving all night after I checked out I could feel them jumping on my legs. The following day, I parked my car for five hours during a portion of my trip; when I returned, my car's interior thermometer read 118 degrees. By chance, I happened to lift my basket when I returned to the car to load things when I discovered the dead bugs that had traveled with me from the hotel right there they died from the heat. This is not at all acceptable to me because I'm a really clean person. The same day I checked in to this hotel I checked out and drove through the night to my next destination; nevertheless, I had to stay awake for more than 24 hours before I could check into my next booked hotel, which, by the way, was excellent. There were no problems over my entire 10-day visit. The rooms at this hotel truly need to be upgraded, and getting rid of all the carpets should be their top priority because that would greatly reduce any fleas, bugs, or other pests that may be present. When I finally arrived at my destination, I chose a hotel without carpet. It was such a beautiful 10-day experience that I wish your hotel had been the same. Thank you for ruining the first day of my very first vacation.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The breakfast was great. The dining room was nice and comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly. They sought to all our needs. The rooms are large. The common areas are welcome. It has a very New Orleanians French Quarter vibe. The lobby smelled of hyacinth. It was wonderful. The only downsides for me were the state of the park lot and pool. It was not bad, mind you, but with a bit of work and time invested, it could be a lot better. I very much enjoyed my stay.

Nice place. You can tell it's old. Other than the doors not working to get in our room, or close the bathroom door, it was a nice place. Lots of paintings on the wall. Smelled nice. And rooms were very spcaious.

Stayed here for a King Island trip. Wanted a cheaper hotel and after looking at recent reviews decided tongive this a shot. Loved the interior of the main section. Rooms were adequate for the money. The girl that was at the desk was awesome and friendly! Definitely worth the price!

This hotel is a gem, really nice and clean. The locaion is not bad, there are a few restuarants close by. Don't hesitate to book this hotel, the staff are pleasant and attentive. Wonderfull place, the lobby is clean ad smells fresh, the decor is just amazing.
