“Very friendly and professional staff. Dr. Shields and Dr. Ben know our pets and our family. Perhaps a bit more expensive than some places, but they have the expertise and equipment to handle more complicated issues. They have added a new doctor, Dr. Julia. She saw our Sheltie for the first time today and provided the same quality of care we have gotten from this practice over the years. Showed dogs in 4H, currently has a cat, bonus points for naming it Scully. Found out today she and Dr. Ben are Star Trek fans.They recently remodeled the grooming section to add two new exam rooms. They no longer offer grooming, but it allows more folks to get in and out quicker. imo.”

“I absolutely recommend this hospital. Staff working at the reception is very kind, so it is a good start. Also nurses are caring and very professional. And I 100% recommend Dr. Hess, he is by far the best! He saw our dog, Miriam, and took his time to explain to us everything and very detailed. He listened with patience and answered all of our questions without being rushed at any moment. He also showed genuine interest in our dog, so you can clearly see he loves what he does. “I brought my little boy Chase (My cat) in after he passed away and had him cremated there. They respected all my wishes of what I wanted and they bought his ashes back to me which was most important. They let me pat him one more time before they took him.My puppy Amelia loves going there and they take such good care of her as well. They saved Amelia's both eyes from ulcers! They always answer my questions. I am very pleased that I have found them. I know Amelia will have a good long life because of them.”

“I've had 3 different Vet Clinics over the past 30 years, I tend to stay loyal as long as things are fair and compassionate.I recently left a bigger (more well known) clinic with the decline of customer service and drastic price increases.Indian Creek was a recommendation from a family friend, so I thought I would try it out. First, the 2 owners are personable and enthusiastic about your specific needs and concerns. The pricing is extremely reasonable and upfront about costs for different procedures / care.I feel attended to and when going over recommended options for pet care, they are transparent about what is needed and what is preventative.”
“Can't say enough good things about Animal Hospital of Pataskala! My family has taken our puppies (and our cat) here for years! Appointment scheduling has always been a breeze; we are able to call in and get an appointment within the day if necessary. The staff is PHENOMENAL. Each staff member is kind and genuine when it comes to caring for and making your pet feel as comfortable as possible. Taking any of our dogs in is always stressful because they are so young. I truly cannot comment on how great of a job the staff does with accommodating for any type of animal behavior. I think my lab actually likes going to the vet now due to all the attention and treats she gets, lol!”

“My baby Brutus tore his all and at 130 pounds, that's a really big deal. The vet was great she didn't rush to do surgery or try to drain my wallet. Her main concern was getting him out of pain so we decided to put him on some pain medication combined with some arthritis medication after all he is ten years old. She called a couple of days later to check on him. He is getting better hopefully with a knee brace he won't need surgery..”
“A very affordable place to spay/neuter your pet. Check their website for low cost well care clinic days too. I stopped by to make an appointment for my rescue adoption dog. The staff is fantastic to work with when making your appointment. On the day of my dog’s surgery I dropped her off early in the morning. Have your pet on a leash or in a crate to expedite the check in process. You will fill out paperwork and after a few minutes a staff member will retrieve your pet. They tell you upfront your pet will be there most of the day. They will text you when your pet is ready to be picked up. When my dog was discharged from the clinic a staff member sat down with me and went over medication dosage and post op procedures to help me care for my pet after the surgery. The staff made this a very organized and calm experience. Their attention to providing information and answering questions is one of the best interactions I’ve ever had with a pet clinic!”

They have been our vets for almost 20 years, and have seen us through the aging and eventual passing of one dog, and the puppyhood and young adulthood of our 2nd dog. This is a busy office, but they still know our current dog by name and by personality. They recently helped us navigate getting our dog's weight down to a healthy level, which was no mean feat! We will use them as long as we live in the area and they are open.”

Their hours make it easy to schedule an appointment, even in an emergency. I also love that they offer their own in-house healthcare plan; although it's not transferable to other vet clinics, it's a little more affordable than most pet insurances and really helps to cut down on medical costs. I've recommended this clinic to multiple people and will continue to do so!”

She takes her time and explain plans of care to us and has even offered care when our 14 year old shih tzu had to be humanely euthanized.”
