Nice and clean. The only issue we have is the toilet and sink. I think they were for kids or little people. Not even close to chair height. Thought I was sitting on the floor. Beds were very uncomfortable.

If I base this review solely on the employees, this review would be a -5. The only saving grace about this place is the location, sadly still located on a loud busy road, and the size of rooms. The rooms themselves were slightly generic and needed updating. They were clean, but we did find trash in one of the night stands. At check-in the young man was unsure of himself but wanted to make us feel incompetent while explaining amenities. We were also told about places in town that were not even open during our stay, so it was frustrating to waste time getting to places and finding them closed. The woman at checkout acted as if she was on something and had somewhere better to be. We overheard as she was extremely rude to people trying to check out. Again, she acted as if it was an inconvenience. Other employees could be heard complaining about guests and other employees. This hotel was recommended to us by family who stay there often, but sadly we will not be returning and will recommend our family finds other accommodations. If you don't mind lack of hospitality, this hotel is fine.Rooms: The king size rooms feature a couch, which needs updated, and has an exterior door. BEWARE. There are no microwaves in the room.Food & drinks: Almost all items at breakfast are prepackaged and can be a little limiting for those with restrictions. If you are diabetic or gluten free, consider bringing your own options.

A great place to get away, relax and do a lil shopping too in Berlin and nearby towns also. Various types of rooms from smaller single bed to a larger room with king size bed and jacuzzi tub.

Disappointing Experience Due to Noise and Lack of Management InterventionI recently stayed at Hotel Berlin, Heritage Inn, and unfortunately, my experience was marred by the disruptive behavior of a group of teenagers occupying multiple rooms. Throughout the night, they played, walked loudly, and raised their voices, depriving me of a peaceful stay.Despite bringing this issue to the attention of the night manager, the only solution offered was to relocate to another room upon my request. Regrettably, the manager failed to address the disruptive behavior of the teenagers or take measures to ensure the comfort of the guests.Furthermore, this incident led me to reflect on broader societal issues. It seems that there is a concerning trend where individuals neglect to assert their rights and respect fundamental values. The lack of accountability for one's actions and a decline in basic courtesy contribute to an environment where everyone acts without consideration for others. In conclusion, my stay at Hotel Berlin, Heritage Inn, was disappointing due to the disturbance caused by inconsiderate guests and the inadequate response from the management. On the positive side, the rooms were well-maintained, impeccably clean, and the location was excellent.

We have stayed here a few times because they are pet friendly and have never had an issue but I wasn’t pleased with our recent stay. There were hairs in the bathtub when we got there and I happened to look under one of the beds and was shocked at the amount of hair, both human and pet, and dirt that was under one of them. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned under in quite a while. There were also only 3 bath towels for 5 people, which I thought was strange.

Very comfortable beds, fast WiFi, Great location, good breakfast options & hot shower.Only thing I would change is to have paper plates rather than styrofoam. This was not good to put in the microwave

Those people are not right. I was in the room for about 5 mins max. Got an emergency call and had to leave. Turned my key back in and asked about a refund or partial refund. Then called them after about an hour or so and she had to check the room. She called me back and told me no because there was water ran in the sink and a mark pillow. I sat on bed for a minute. Nothing was disturbed. She said black mark on headboard. Never went it . So it must have been dirty when I got there. I don't think it right to charge almost $170 and not get some reimbursement when you have an emergency come up.

Fridge was way too small. Be careful with pets. They don’t fully explain the charges because you get a surprise charge in your next card statement instead of paying it at checkout. Won’t stay there againWalkability: Close to Berlin. Probably the only perk

The front desk clerk was a bit abrupt with us. We didn't realize when we booked our room that we would be in the carriage house (a different location down the road). There was no ice available, just a tiny refrigerator on the floor. The room was clean, but very small. Breakfast was microwavable sandwiches, omelettes and hash brown. For the amount of money we paid, we were quite disappointed.

The staff does not follow the law on handling of ADA service animals. While we were already perfectly fine paying their $20/night fee for a separate non-service pet dog, they bordered on violating ADA law by not accepting my wife's standard answers for her service dog (second dog staying with us) of A) yes, this is my service animal. He is not an ESA and B) this is his task, in basic terms without revealing her condition. What you fail to considering is when somebody has a psychiatric service animal, indeed a subcategory of ADA protected service animals, the handler may not necessarily take well to badgering in order to reveal details about their condition. It's unprofessional, especially over text before guests even arrive. If you were to have concerns, then you have the right on the other end of the ADA law, as a business owner, to ask a service animal to leave otherwise permissible areas if the animal is disruptive, aggressive, etc. But to question an intentionally vaguely stated task (which is by design of how service animal handlers answer the "what task is your animal trained to perform") saying that any animal can do that, is baiting an answer that reveals details (and often emotionally painful, embarrassing details) of an underlying medical condition.Completely unacceptable. Very glad we will not be staying here as I do not take kindly to having to deal with this kind of nonsense and borderline violation of the ADA, and I leave this here as a warning for other service animal handlers and their families. Missing out on our 3 night stay just to try to gain another $60 for yourselves - and let's be clear, since you already allow non-service animal pets, that's what it is, $60 extra profit for you - seems pretty myopic.
