My wife and I are very happy to refer our family and friends in the Bellevue and Clyde area to Auxter Funeral Homes. We’ve had the pleasure of knowing Jim and Lisa Recker for several years. We were so happy when they decided to join the Auxter family! Both Jim and Lisa have served families we know during extremely hard times, and their level of professionalism, care and compassion is exceptional. Lisa has helped countless families, as she says, “to help make the most difficult day of their lives a little easier” by preplanning funeral arrangements. As a funeral director, Jim helps guide families during very emotional and often stressful times, and his calmness and empathy for others truly shines. They are definitely lacking in empathy. They are certainly not making a very good name for themselves these days. They have either have been in this "business" too long or are in the wrong business. It's too bad because when someone passes away we all know "it's the pits"They should have a space for the family to step away; get a drink, grab a bite. When we asked to bring a case of bottled water in for my large family, the response was "we have a drinking fountain". Pretty sure every drinking fountain I have seen since Covid had been taped off. This was the 2nd family member to pass away from Covid/ Covid complications. They have adapted no precautions, not even basic hand sanitizer. I had to ask if it was available both times.I unfortunately cannot support this local establishment.

My family would never go to this funeral home again. They have poor customer service and this last family funeral was too much. They would not allow the grieving wife to have a bottle of water while standing there for over 4 hours and actually one of the staff grabbed my 20 month old nephew by the arm and yelled at him. They could take lesson from Foos funeral how to run a family funeral

Dean, Malinda and Hannah have been absolute Godsends to both my family (Riehl), and my husband's family!! They are so caring, respectful of our wishes, and those of our family members who have passed! Can't say enough wonderful things about them, and their staff! God Bless all of them!

Malinda told me she was going to help me with life insurance. She found out she wouldnt get paid from one of them and never sent the documents, but told me she did! She later sent me the documents she was supoosed to have sent yo the insurance company already! Auxter seems money hungry. I regret letting them "take care" of my dads last day.
