One of my best friends is an accountant for the state. Although he doesn't handle personal taxes, he crunched some numbers for me over the weekend. I already had an appointment set with H&R, so I decided to keep it and see what they came up with. A little over $3,600 short of what an ACTUAL accountant was getting me back. Makes me wonder how many thousands H&R has lost me over the past few years. I think I'll take my buddy's advice, and stay far away from H&R. I obviously won't be back!

Patty was super professional and personable. It was quick, easy, and honestly an enjoyable time. She thoroughly explained everything to me and made sure I understood before moving ahead. Highly recommend that Patricia Whitehead be the tax professional you have file your taxes!

Horrible service. Charge way too much to do taxes and to top it off had my taxes all screwed up. The one preparing my taxes had no clue what they were doing. Even told me to my face they would take care of sending off my city tax paperwork. Never got the paperwork back in my packet when I was called to come pick it up. So thought they took care of it or so I thought. Then surprise I get a letter a year later from the Bellefontaine office stating there's a hold on last year's return. I call and the lady tells me they still have my city tax paperwork. Not only will I get zapped with a late fee now but you kept it for the past year and never had the decent courtesy to call me and let me know this. Very unprofessional service and I'll never use them again to do my taxes.
