“I like pretty much all DollarTrees. This one could be a tad nicer on the outside... some weeds and such...but not a deal breaker. I always go for greeting cards. They carry beautiful Hallmark cards ,so there is no reason to spend a fortune on cards anywhere else! I'm not a fan of their new $3 and $5 pricing, but to each his own. They have good deals on plastic food storage containers and cleaning supplies. If you are someone who always loses your reading glasses , this is the place for you. This is a fun store to shop and especially now with all the fun back to school stuff. I also appreciate being allowed to buy school supplies that are donated to the children of our armed forces. An honor! They also have great deals on spices and food items.”
“I was shopping in this store today and the girl working was very pleasant ...She greeted everybody that came through the door - even knew most by their name. She SMILED all the time and talk to everybody ... i didnt get a chance to tell her how good of a job she was doing due to she left to go get some shopping carts that were takin away from the store she put them in her own vehicle and brought them back ! She deserves a pat on the back. You dont find people who care about their job like she does...i give her 5 stars. I dont know what her names is but she has blonde hair.... Keep up the good work”
“I left my cellphone at this store, and I didn't realize that till I got home. however when I went back to the store and ask their staffs. they were so kind and they kept my phone for me. I was so glad to find my phone back. I have to say people who work here have genuine heart and work with honesty!!”

“this is the best dollar general for one reason. i am someone who doesnt really go to the dollar general that much because the workers are a little mean and weird at times but Trina was an angel who was so sweet and caring when we couldnt find something she showed us where it was, when the self checkout wasnt working she helped us and when we left she told us she hoped to see us again. Trina must be kept”
“This is the most nicest family dollar I've ever been in, there is a wonderful woman named Debby and she goes out of her way to help anyone who needs help, and a little girl name Brandy she's so cute and again will go out of her way to help you with anything. “I was blown back by the amount of things they have in the store you name it they got it they have shelves that everything are just $1 and they have shells where everything is only $2 really good deals everything in the store is a great deal except for one thing their eggs were four dollars and 70 cents for a dozen I'm telling you I'm so happy I found that store I save so much money going there it's ridiculous I say go go”

“I need the owner of the store to contact me ASAP! I was just there and the cashier was extremely rude and didn't pay attention to what she was doing and just threw everything instead of the bags. When I get home she put put a bottle of liquid carpet freshener with a family size box of fruit snacks, neosporin, and cat treats. Well the heaviness of the fruit snacks crushed the bottle and broke it and it spilled everywhere inside the bag and all over my ca. It ruined a lot of items that I purchased. There's more if like to add but I would like to speak to the owner of that Dollar General immediately! Thank you! Oh and I've called several times and keep getting hung up on as well.”

“I use to go to Snothville FD, and then I decided to try the Burkhardt store because the Smithville store was always sold out of things. The aisles were always blocked or cluttered. The manager stated to me that there is a NO RETURN OR REFUND POLICY there no matter what. I tried to exchange a pack of childrens T shirts for a smaller size and she said NO! I even had my reciept from an hour earlier! She also said they dont restock the shelves once a product is gone. Now that I go to the Burkhardt store I know I will get everything I have on my list. The staff is always friendly and they actually talk to me. The aisles are always clear and the store is a lot cleaner than the Smithville store. The Smithville store could learn a lot from the Burkhardt store.”
“On 3/20/23 around 5:20pm I went to this location. Clumsy me accidentally dropped and spilled a fabuluso floor cleaner. I picked it up and went to the clerk immediately apologizing. She was extremely nice and understanding. I heard other customers asking her multiple questions but is a the same time. I’m sure this all had to be frustrating, she kept her best customer service face on and handled every thing at once. I understand this isn’t anything too out of the expected ordinary. But I myself work in customer service and understand how difficult it can be. Everyone should remember to have respect for all customer service workers. 5 stars if I this employee for a great job!”
