-5 stars this place is a joke. No one truck moved for .ore then 4 hours.Everything is wrong here. Why order trucks and make appointments if you cannot provide service.

Trucks backed to all the docks. No one is leaving for four hours. Not to mention the staging area and the hassle to find the correct entrance. This is the worst place to delivery a load.

It should have been a 4 star, but the security were sluggish! It was until i went back to them to ask why didn't they call me for the door , they realised they missed my spot. But the warehouse was quick, within 40 min i was on my way out. It should be NOTED THAT THE TRUCK ENTRANCE IS ON HIST ST. Just after Olympic steel. It seems they don't allow overnight parking, but i stand to be corrected

It feels like there should be a more efficient way of doing things. They made a big deal about being on time and answering your phone. I give them 2 stars because true to their word they called me in exactly when they said they would. Everything after that was tardy. You have to park to check in with security, then later check in with receiving, and then again with Capstone. The wait in receiving and for Capstone went beyond my appointment time. You wait for Capstone and pay them for that privilege, then have to repeat the entire check out process in reverse, each time waiting in line. Its just not a great experience overall.Note- Enter off of Hist road DO NOT follow the GPS like others have said.

Restroom available until 2100. Ample parking when you arrive early. Adequately open area for docking. Friendly atmosphere.

Kind of notoriously slow. They regularly take three or four hours to do a handful of pallets. No parking in holding once you're empty. If you have a choice, I would suggest skipping this consignee

Large lot, staging area is large. Guardshack employees are always nice. When arriving park in staging area and walk up to the Guardshack to check in. They call you once a door is available. This is a driver or lumper unload facility.

The work done by staff does fill a vital need in food distribution. The work is simple and straight forward and can be done in repetition. The pros: good work, weekly pay, you drive a pallet jack as a opposed to walking, overtime is almost always a regular occurrence. The cons: the work culture is a mixture of helpful to aggressive. As a selector you will be sharing the aile with high rise forklift operators, on second shift some are helpful others present a saftey issue. On second shift, one operator will attempt to block you in the aisle to prevent you from passing, 2 others along with a trainer were observed driving their machines while texting on cellular devices or eating bags of chips, taking their hands off of the wheel. This is in the dry good section. The work culture here is more akin to working an agricultural job in the south. However, in the frozen section the work and pacing are more akin to work up north , fast pace, objective focused and has a third shift allowing you to have more work/home life balanced. Also in frozen it is more accepting to promote and train to the next level. To do list: bring a lock for your locker and keep extra coats gloves and hats in preparation to be pulled to frozen. Be objective focused and have a get it down perspective as selectors are required to meet a metric of 100 percent or more for each order which can number between 100 to 300 items spread across two pallets. Be conscious of the fact that this warehouse has a high turnover rate. While there are some who have managed to stay for upwards of 8 years and more, there is alot of senority and most get out of selecting as quickly as possible. ((Failure to meet 100 percent for each order over a week period in 8 week working days will lead to termination)) ((vacation isn't offered until a year has passed and any missed days or even late shifts lead to points that won't fall off for an entire year)) you are only allowed 7 points for the year. Clocking in too early, 1 minute too late or too early will also give a point. It is advised to give an additional 20 minutes to transit to work to be on time , clock in at 5 minutes till start, to be able to selecting at the start of the in house bell. (No cell phones on the floor eventhough as mentioned above some of the trainers and highrise operators all use their phones while working. The best way to make rate is to be fast to call out the number of the items necessary for selection and then stack the pallet accordingly, promptly moving to the next item. Also, always have 4 points of contact on the pallet jack, one hand on the wheel one on the saftey bar and two feet firmly placed on the kickpad. Failure to do this is considered a saftey violation and can lead to termination so use sound judgement. Don't ever jump off of the pallet jack while in movement nor have anyone ride with you. Common sense things true, but does need to be mentioned. Work here can be done however requires reaching metrics as well as good judgment while working along with senior members. Everyone who comes on does everything possible to get off of selecting as quickly as possible as it has the highest turn over rate yet is the most essential part of the warehouse. Do your work, keep your head down, get in and out.

Delivery trucker nightmare…. Arrived for my 930am appointment for delivery. With freezing temperatures long line of truckers outside just to check in at guard scheck. Then another 3 hrs wait before they gave me door. Then another 5 hrs unloading. They literally took their time removing each box from packed pallets and placed each box on one single pallet. Twice everyone ran to their 30 minute breaks, and another shift change at 315pm. Spoke with manager, they just do not care about you, your next appointments, your electronic log book. Such a horrible Place. Told my broker not again at this stinky place.

Three hours for delivery. Not to bad for flowers delivery and overnight parking available on their property. If you missed your appointment, they will work you in. Thank you.
