Beware of Stevens. We used them because they were recommended by a new employer in Cleveland. They picked up our belongings on the West Coast and held them in storage while we looked for a house. Finally the happy day came and everything was delivered to the new house. Happiness turned to misery. Many items were broken. Some could have been repaired. Others not. Some were family antiques. We'd paid for insurance, so figured Stevens would honor that. We were wrong. It turned into a months-long slog of calls not returned and emails unanswered as we tried to get repairs or replacement for the broken items. Ultimately they wrote a check for less than they owed. We took a loss just to be done with the frustration. Find another mover. You and your belongings will be glad you did.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY They quoted me approximately $1900.00 to pack and move a four bedroom house, with me packing up certain areas. I did this and more. Then on the moving day, the moving crew leader acted surprised and was like, why didn't "Joe" (the guy who did the walk-through of the property and the quote) have us come pack yesterday? It turns out that the quote for $1900 was "wrong" and I would have to pay over $900 more to have my things moved, because it would "screw over the movers and they would be paid less all because of Joe's error." I spoke with the supervisor who basically told me to pony up the money, and he couldn't care less what Joe did or did not do. Just don't use them!!

Great moving company! We had a big local move, required 2 full days of packing and 2 days with 2 trucks of moving! I was very nervous to hire a moving company to move and pack! All I can say is they worked very hard every second they were here! They all had positive attitudes and went above and beyond on every single thing they did! I found them trustworthy and was comfortable with them handling all of our possessions. Things were packed meticulously and the move was done without any damage to the furniture or to the homes! Not a single thing broken, not even a glass or plate. All I can say is they exceeded my expectations by a long shot!! They made a very difficult and stressful time as easy as it could possibly be. Also, I got a couple estimates and they were comparable to the other companies and came in slightly below budget.

I used these guys for a local move in Cleveland and cannot understand the bad reviews below. I have moved over 20 times in my life (not an exaggeration) and these were the best movers I've ever had out of those twenty times, hands down -- no contest. They arrived early, were able to maneuver their truck into a tight location downtown, and moved things so quickly it took so much less time than expected. Unlike Three Men and a Truck, who I've also used for a local move, they roll down mats when they pack and when they deliver so your floors don't get scuffed or dirty in anyway. All three movers were extremely kind and trustworthy, I trusted them immensely with my things. Everything was packed well and labeled well, and they came in under their estimate! In fact, they cost less for a move where the two locations were half an hour away then when I used another moving company to move apartments downtown half a block away. I kid you not. Very reasonable prices and great service.They put my beds together quickly and well. One of them had broken from a previous incident and they offered to come back for free and fix it when I had the part, and helped me figure out a better way to get the part. Then while they were writing up my final bill and thus could have been resting, they helped take some new furniture that I had just had delivered and started building it for me for free, when they weren't even "on the clock". True gentlemen.Additionally, as I was moving in I noticed a bunny rabbit nest in my backyard as I had my dog back there to keep out of way of the movers. The movers took the time after the move to build up the bunny nest for the bunnies and to make sure they were in a safe place. I mean, why would you not use them? I would be honored to vouch for them more as there were many other exceptional things that they did, and again I have a lot of experience with movers, but the end result is that I will emphatically recommend them to anyone who needs a mover in the Cleveland area.

Excellent work today from 3 amazing workers, moved me from my home in Fairview Park to new digs in Battery Park. Totally on time, professional, efficient, and especially kind. We moved from Indianapolis to Cleveland. Our employer chooses Stevens. I had a different pile of in the garage which I told them not to put in the truck. I was planning to take it by car. The driver is very nice but one guy who helped to load the stuff took several of my stuff and put it in his car. Luckily I saw him taking my stuff away and ask him to put the stuff back. You need to supervise them all the time.

This company was awful. I requested my stuff to be delivered on the 1st, from a long distance move, they gave me a window between the 1st and the 12th and it was late 3 days after the 12th. I was not given any updates from the company when it would be delivered. Finally when it did get delivered it was done at 9 pm and not finished till 1 am. Things were broke and I got no refund. The only thing that was good was the driver was the nicest gentlemen and truly cared about people's property. Which I hope he left this company, because they don't deserve him. Also I've tried calling this company like the person said to and no one answers and no one replies to emails and claims.
