Re/Max Haven reps are a joke!!!!!!!! I gave a notice to end my lease at the end of March. They wanted my keys 3/29. I liter went back and forth with Ms. Charlene J. over it. The email I received after giving my notice states to return ON OR BEFORE April 1st. They either don't know Ohio Tenant Laws or they tried to bully me. After I mentioned that I am technically "paid up" until March 31st, Ms. Know-it-all agreed for me to drop off on March 31st or I would be responsible for Aprils rent. Don't rent from Re/Max Haven. Don't buy from Re/Max Haven.

I'm relieved to have moved on from dealing with them. This property management company has been an absolute nightmare to work with. While they might excel in selling houses, their performance as property managers is abysmal. I strongly advise both tenants and landlords to steer clear of them. I've had the unfortunate experience of witnessing their incompetence from both perspectives, as I had a close relationship with my landlord who often shared their frustrations with me.One of the major issues is their lack of communication. They claim to reach out to tenants, but they frequently fail to do so. Maintenance workers who have visited the property have confirmed that they hear consistent complaints from both landlords and tenants. It seems to be a recurring problem that isn't being addressed.I suspect that the root of the issue may lie with the franchise owner and possibly even with Re/Max as a whole, given that it's a franchise. Therefore, I strongly recommend avoiding this specific franchise location at all costs. Only resort to using or renting from them if there are no other options available.Adding to the frustration of lack of communication. They only provide an email address for landlords, and they don't offer a phone number for direct contact. Furthermore, they keep the building locked, making it difficult for anyone to gain access. It gives off the impression that they're aware of their shortcomings and are trying to protect themselves from any backlash.Overall, there's nothing welcoming about their approach. It's best to look elsewhere for property management services.

I’ve used Remax Haven property management for 3 years now. The property management is awesome! They take care of everything, which I especially appreciated when I had to start an eviction. The person I have worked with the most is Ashley- she has put in a ton of work for me to help me get my rental ready again for a new tenant. The contractors they use are not necessarily that thorough, and are pricey, but they always welcome you to find better vendors. Definitely worth not having to do all the leg work yourself, especially if you live far from the rental property.

If you rent from them no that it will take weeks or months to fix anything. They have no number to call and they will give you the work around over anything when you try to message them. In one year we had no oven for months, no bath tub for a month, construction debris left uncleaned, our baby tested positive for lead and they didn’t care, and our water got shut off because they didn’t pay the bill that they were responsible for. They make up a 35 dollar fee to tack onto your rent every month for “benefits” including a non-existent renters insurance policy. Also all the positive reviews on this page are obviously bots.

They leave instructions that you have to fill out paperwork before they will even show you a place. There is a $49 application fee. They leave listings active that have already been rented in what looks to be an attempt to collect extra application fees. They answered zero of my calls, texts, or emails. I have decent solid income and an average credit rating good enough to buy the place. I suspect they were upset they could not charge me $500 over a service animal . I would leave negative stars if I could. Be careful or you might end up losing $50. I refused to pay anything because of the lack of responsiveness. I am confused how they legally do this. It should be obvious how the ethically do it.

I don't like the idea of not being able to talk to someone but the team is very responsive in the chat txt & on-line portal

Monica Love is HORRIBLE, every time you reach out to her about a property, all she does is send an automated show MOJO message. Sometimes people want to ask questions BEFORE even scheduling a viewing. She never answers the phone or any emails. Better off going to Howard Hanna, at least they reply!

Worst experience ever.No direct contact number, wait around for an email for anything.I waited 2 months on a rental property to become "ready" after completing my application and payments. Just for the property to have been broken into. Remax did not know this property was broken into which I know because they still allowed me to move into the property. Every line connected to the breaker box was cut with scissors across. I had to file a report and then get in touch with the actual owner of the property. Just for me to not get my security deposit back...Which is bizarre because they never accommodated me for the break in or anything.Had no AC in the summer until end of July. Remax wanted me to pay for it. I reached out to the owner and he was able to get things fixed for me.Lease renewal - Randomly went up on rent by $100 and the reasoning was that the rent was not reflecting "Market based prices".I would not recommend it. Remax (Bedford, OH ) is a slumlord for sure. Bare minimum with everything and keep your deposit for out dated properties that they rent out.It sucks but they are absolutely terrible.
