My movers, Scott Fisher and his guys were exceptional. They were timely and took pains to pack and move my stuff well. They were outstanding and made the move somewhat bearable. My advice for North American Van Lines is to make the process clearer from the start. I felt they did a "bait and switch" with--viewing my home and stuff during the initial intake and quoted me an amount that ended up not being close to what I actually paid. They kept adding hundreds of dollars. Give an accurate approximate quote at the start. I ended up paying way more than I was initially quoted. Nonetheless, I will use University Movers and Scott Fisher again.

The whole process with North American Van Lines was great! From getting a quote, negotiating, and finalizing details it was seamless. The handoff to the moving coordinator went well and then communication from our driver, Alan was phenomenal. Also, shoutout to Mike in the warehouse for his support and kindness! Since it was a cross country move, I was very nervous and all of my nerves went away once I met our driver. Thank you to North American Van Lines for your care and great service! If I make another long distance move, I WILL be calling them!

University Moving/North American Van Lines did an outstanding job moving me. They made the task so easy for me. They did an excellent job at coordinating my home, auto, and storage needs for my out of state move. Travis, Frieda, Roberto and crew, and Chris and crew were all great to work with. They were professional, friendly, very helpful, and at every part of the move demonstrated they really cared. Any questions I had were answered immediately, they never left you hanging for an answer. North American Van Lines-West Chester via University Moving and Storage took my household from Ohio to Mississippi despite horrid winter weather conditions and major winter storm warnings across 4 states. The driver, Colin, managed to do so with a smile and great disposition while also calming my nerves via calls and texts. I would definitely recommend them for a long distance move!

Great moving experience!Used North American Van Lines to take care of our move from Mason, Ohio to Delaware and it was great. Everyone one from the estimator to the driver and his various crews were professional, easy to work with and genuinely pleasant people. All our furniture and possessions arrived at our new home in perfect condition. So much care was taken in the packing, loading and unloading that nothing was damaged or broken at all. Pricing was competitive, delivery was on time. Highly recommend you give North American a call for your next move!

So far it's been a nightmare. The driver was scheduled to show and start the move between 8 and 10 in the morning. He showed up at 3 in the afternoon, giving us 3 hours of daylight to work with. Love starting a long distance move near dusk. They loaded the truck until 9 or 10 at night. I had paid for two stops, with an additional stop to pick up a riding mower and gun safe. They sent a truck with no lift gate and a single ramp on and off, making it impossible to load a riding mower. I emailed before the date of the move to remind everyone involved that there was a large gun safe to be moved and they would need the appropriate equipment. They showed up with no way to move it.Its now over a week later and I still don't have my mower and safe. Someone was supposed to move it today, which of course no one showed and there was no phone call. I'm certain I'll have to sue these people for breach of contract to get anything done.When what they did load made it to the destination they had taken things apart and didn't know how to put them back together. I ended up having to reassemble every bed and a workbench because the person that took them apart was not the person that put them back together and they were all improperly assembled. Near the end of the move they just started putting boxes in the garage instead of the proper room as the boxes were labeled. I paid them in good faith and was reassured that my other belongings would be delivered, and they have not and probably will not. I'll update in the followings days if a miracle occurs. Bottom line, I wouldn't hire these people to move something from one side of the street to the other.

They arrived late.. then their truck broke down (not their fault) but that took hours to resolve as well.. then they were rushed - they broke a step stool and it put a hole in the wall - guess what they don’t do drywall repair, they have to send someone and they didn’t have anyone available - fortunately I found someone who came and repaired it before the new owners moved in… and they are supposed to reimburse me for the expense - will update when it happens - this sadly is the best parts of the move.. from here it goes downhill!My belongings arrived today - things are broken.. damaged.. at least 30%+ of boxes (they packed all my belongings) are damaged (crushed), most aren’t even marked with a sticker or what is inside - furniture is damaged, lamps are broken, and this is all without seeing what is inside boxes and whether or not they survived the crushing) and over 1/2 the furniture still wrapped - they did respond right away and sent me a claim form to complete (letting me know I am required to keep all the damaged boxes until the claim is resolved (where will I have the room to store them???) but of course the printer is packed somewhere and hopefully not in a damaged box! I will continue to update as the claim process happens.. I would NEVER recommend using this mover at this point - hoping the claims process goes better than the actual move has - happy to share pictures with anyone who is interested and details of the process as it unfolds
