We had the absolute worst experience at one of their facilities in Philadelphia. We got my mom out of there thankfully.

Horrible. Micromanagement, no holiday pay for non union employees, pays are never accurate, hire new employees at higher hourly rates with less experience, nothing gets fixed when broken in a timely manner, full of agency staff because they can't keep employees and change rules for individuals daily

I actually liked working for my facility. In october i informed management that i was to have brain suegery in november. Doctor requested light duty. They had me washing wheelchairs as light duty. Went out for medical leave 12/3. Doctor said i could return 1/1/24 on light duty. During my medical leave my company wanted me to complete some reliance videos. I was recovering from brain surgery. I told them i do.it when i returned in janauey. That wasnt good enough for them. When it was time for mw to return in janaury all of a sudden they couldnt accomodate my disability for non job related illnesses. Then i pointed out that caucasian employees were being accomodated for non job related injuries. Took a couple of weeks but HR reached out to me. Now they willing to accomodate but i have to comw to first shift. They played this game rhe whole month of janaury. Now its febraury and they need another excuse from my doctor. For what. My notice says return 1/1/24 & light duty 30 days. Thy tried to say they needed to know how to accomodate me. Accomodate me for what? Accomodations are over. I resigned under the direction of the eeoc.

Please do not send your worst enemy to a Saber Health facility. I cannot tell you how horrific my experience has and been. It won't do any good as they have more money by far than I do. DO NOT SEND ANYONE THERE.

This company recently took over the nursing home that my mother-in-law was residing at. When it came time for hospice care, they played hardball and demanded unreasonable room and board charges. The local staff seemed willing to work with us based on her income, but corporate got involved and wanted to drain every cent she had, which wasn’t much. Despicable.

If you want to send your loved one to a disgustingly filthy, poorly managed and owned facility well then, Currituck Health and Rehab in Barco North Carolina owned by Saber Health Care is for you! This place should be shut down by the health department. There is no way a human being could possibly thrive in this environment! Shame on you administrator Karen Brandt for obviously being blind and not caring of the condition your facility is in! Shame on you for keeping food service staff like "Rita" employed when she obviously could care less what she serves out of the kitchen. Shame on you Saber Health for operating this facility in the condition it is in and employing careless people to take care of the most vulnerable in our society. I hope that people will read this review, look at the pictures and decide not to let you care for their loved ones. If you can't even keep a plant in your lobby alive how can anyone trust you to keep their loved one alive??? Be rest assured that I will be shouting this from the roof tops and telling everyone I know about this including Currituck county health department, social services and Medicare. Who ever is reaping the benefits at Saber Healthcare you obviously have no remorse, compassion or empathy and you should spend your last days in your own facility in Currituck. Please do not suggest that I call you to discuss this further. You know what your doing wrong!!! If you don't then you should get out of the business!!!

My mother was a patient. A family meeting was held for the facility to know what the family expected for rehab after a hospital stay. Mom has been at this location before under different mgmt near my aunt's homes. They could visit in my stead while taking care of mom's affairs at her home. This was not being done. Mom never wore diapers until coming here. She would be left in a wet diaper listing away in bed when I would get there for a visit. My mother also caught COVID while there. After 9 months I get a bill and after mailing a pymt I get a past due letter asking to contact 'me' ,yet the letter is not signed so I do not know who 'me' is. I have called several times leaving messages both live and recorded with no one returning my call. I will do my best to never let Mom go back there.

Can't get anyone from the main office to come to your room for a private meeting. House keeping sucks The nurses response to call lights could be faster

High turnover. I personally didnt feel comfortable in the Saber facility I worked in. It was absolutely filthy and poorly staffed. It's a sad trend what'shappening in nursing homes nowadays. Do your research, tour during off times without an appointment. Check out recent State surveys. I'm still getting reminders to take these stupid online trainings and I'm not even with the company. I pray to God our senior living situation turns around soon. It's a disgrace how these beautiful people have been "cared for". I'm sick of it.

The LTC facility I work for was recently bought by Saber healthcare and what a difference I have seen in such a short period of time. We went from happy well staffed employees along with happy residents to unrealistic, unmanageable and most definitely unsafe patient staff ratio. We also went from plentiful quality supplies with previous owner to the bare minimum of worst/cheapest supplies available on the market…not to mention we have ran out of gloves and washcloths in the past week. The only thing this company has brought into this building since the takeover is their disrespect and uncaring attitude towards the residents and staff. They have shown us in every way their only concern is to squeeze every penny they can into their pockets and has made it perfectly clear they will do whatever it takes for that to happen.

Grand rapids care center has took a nose dive. They won’t let residents watch TV while having dinner. Clique was of nurses changed this for the worse
