I would not shop at this J. Crew. I bought a top from this store and wore it and washed it two times which resulted in the seam coming undone. When I noticed the seam was undone I was on vacation and when I got back I started school. I didn't have time to drive out to J. Crew to take my shirt back and was unaware that a defective product could only be exchanged in the 30 day return window, but all I wanted was to swap the defective shirt for a new one. When I talked to customer service prior to going to the store they said there would be no issue with taking the shirt back outside of the 30 day window since it was defective. In fact I was told by customer service that it would be easier to do the exchange in person since I bought the shirt in store. After talking to customer service again they said each store has there own policy so this J.Crew doesn't accept a defective product outside of the 30 days. I was 11 days outside of the 30 day window. In my opinion I now think it is better to shop somewhere that cares about their customers and understands that if there is an error on the store end it is not the customers fault. This has been extremely disappointing as the workers just said no its outside the 30 days bye. There was no I'm so sorry this has happened or yeah this should happen and they didn't even look at the shirt to see what was going on. This makes me question the quality of the clothing and leads me to believe that it is going down hill.

I have been a committed j crew client for some time now, I shop there for myself, my partner, my children, etc. This winter we bought 2 elongated pea coats for me, the same garment in 2 different colors. I love them both, but the sleeves needed alteration for being too short. I did not expect this to be an issue since being a gold member comes with free alterations. Boy, was I wrong… Right of the bat, I was told that these sleeves are bracelet length and are supposed to be shorter… I was a fashion design major in college, I know exactly how long the sleeves are supposed to be, thank you for insulting a clients intelligence ✔️ Finally after some wasted time discussing the matter, I was asked to try on the coat, ‘Oh yeah, it’s definitely short’ they said. A senior team member approaches to take a look, and begins to tell me how the gold membership comes with basic alterations like a hem line, now more of my time is wasted on having to explain to them that hem line and sleeve length alterations are as basic as alterations get ✔️ Finally they say, we will see what we can do, they may cover some of it but not all of the cost. So the benefit is a sham? Ok... Many minutes later I was given a name, address and phone number of the place with an alteration order. I have dropped the coats off and haven’t called back yet, the whole experience makes me sick to my stomach. I cannot believe how resistant to serve a customer this store was. We live a 40 minute drive away and this experience made me never want to come back to shop in person ever again. I know it can be hard to work in retail because I’ve done it for years, but that kind of ‘service’ isn’t acceptable.

Love J.Crew, especially the Pinecrest location. However, there’s a not-so-nice employee (older woman, short hair) who is passive aggressive and wouldn’t understand that I had a receipt on my phone but not a paper copy (which I never receive with online orders). The clothes were never worn and tags still attached. She made me feel less than and I never want to feel that way in a store even if I am wrong. She didn’t handle the situation well and I hope she doesn’t treat other customers the same.

Just had a great experience with Robbie!! So patient and informative!! Needed help with sizes and he was even kind enough to write some sizes down for me! And took extra care to explain different fits. Thank you!!

I’ve been here a few times now, I love the mens clothing choices and the wide variety they offer. For the most part the staff has been great. I can’t give this location a 5 star review due to an employee named Robby, who had to vocalize that a fashion choice I had made was “weird.” The associate that was helping me (Francesca) was kind, extremely helpful and professional throughout my shopping experience. As someone who has worked in multiple clothing stores and is spending money as a customer, the kind of behavior exhibited by Robby is completely unacceptable and just about made me not want to complete my purchase.

Didn't feel very welcoming. I went to this location for some much needed retail therapy however after I picked up a few items I was told these are not on sale. I thought okay not a big deal, I continued shopping and it felt like I was being watched. I went to the dressing room and the sales person quickly maneuvered to see where I was going. After trying on my items I opened the dressing room door only to see an associate right outside the door. A bit creepy . Management please don't assume customers are there to steel. Overall I like the selection however I think I'll shop online next time.

I'm not sure if I like their chino's but this store has excellent service and some fantastic shirts. Robbie assisted me on two occasion, he was friendly and knowledgeable. I especially liked that he didn't pretend to know it all. He would call other employees overs to answer some of my questions. I found a large and eclectic selection on their shelves.
