Allow me to update my rating of Funke. It's still fabulous. I'm not erasing one word of my review 8 years ago!
Funke is an amazing salon. It's upscale and caters to people of all ages. Young people can emerge with the trendiest styles and older people with whatever they want, trendy or traditional. Funke listens and they are skilled enough to do it all, knowing the latest style trends, products and techniques. My stylist, Kris, is wonderful and I've heard nothing but praise from my friends about other stylists. And to top it off, it's a beautiful space to be in.

I've worked at Funke Hair Body Soul since 2009 and recently changed to a chair rental at Prosper Salon Spaces in Feb. 2023. The space has always been beautiful and welcoming, and my guests always comment on how much they love coming here. I have a lot of flexibility and control over my bookings, and chairside checkout on my tablet or phone.The staff at Prosper is very supportive, and we're all there for each other. I can trust the other stylists to cover my appointments when I'm out or on vacation. The salon is immaculately kept, and the professional Goldwell color is purchased on a per service basis and automatically charged to my card on file. This has saved me a lot of time and money, as I never had to purchase Goldwell color stock, all the color I need to provide services is here.Towels, smocks, and capes are provided, in addition to backbar shampoos and conditioners from BB and Rene Furterer. Retail products are also available for sale, and they have just recently introduced a program where I can earn 10% commission on retail sales that can be applied toward my color usage. This further reduces my cost as an owner.Some Highlights:-Beautiful and welcoming space-Flexible and convenient booking system-Supportive community of stylists-Immaculately kept salon-Professional Goldwell color-Towels, smocks, and capes provided-Backbar shampoos and conditioners from BB and Rene Furterer-Retail products available for sale with 10% commissionOverall, I've been very happy with my experience renting a hair salon space at Prosper Salon Spaces. The change to has been proven to be a very lucrative opportunity for me and my family, and I would highly recommend it to other stylists looking to rent a chair here.

I have been in this industry for more than two decades as a stylist at a salon. Observing where are industry has been headed, I decided to take the plunge and do a booth rental. This has been the best decision I have ever made. Renting at Prosper Salon Spaces is incredible ! The location has great parking (right outside). The salon itself is spacious, well decorated and has huge windows letting in natural light. We are able to purchase products directly from them making it more affordable and easy to make the transition from employee to proprietor. Guests also have the benefit of being able to get multiple services done at one location, while sipping on coffee and snacking on homemade treats provided by the suite owner all while in an upscale family salon. If you want a professional, clean atmosphere and a friendly welcoming space that your clients will love this is it !!

I’ve worked for Funke for 18 years. My experience has been Great. Everyone gets along and genuinely so nice. I Love the salon atmosphere so going Independent that was very important to me. Funke allows me the salon setting I want, gives me the feel of being part of a family and also being able to collaborate with other Business owners who can support each other. I Love my Funke Family.

Prosper Salon Spaces is the absolute best! Great people, great location, gorgeous high end salon and great owners. Robert, Kris and Karen are very helpful, and take outstanding care of the salon. My clients and I are very happy here, and they enjoy their visits! I love a positive and well kempt environment. So this is the place for me, and my guests. Thanks Prosper Salon Spaces!

I am Wendy of Wendy Metzner Nails, one of the renters at Prosper Salon Spaces. This is a great space to work in if you like the feel of a traditional salon but the independence of an independent contractor. Everyone works well around eachother, we all get along beautifully. The salon is kept clean and we all respect eachothers spaces. The rent is very reasonable and the clientele is amazing. I highly recommend it as a place to rent.

I saw Marie today. We moved here from Chicago 3 years ago and I've never found a hair salon that I wanted as a regular. 1 visit here has convinced me that Marie at Funke will be my stylist forever. I had no idea what I wanted and she suggested the perfect cut. As a working mom, she gave me a cute cut that will not need a lot of maintenance. She also balanced chatting and getting to know with me with not making it an exhausting small talk experience. I actually had fun in the chair!
