Dr Shao is world-class. He recently performed cataract surgery on my left eye. He did a fantastic job, and I can now see perfectly. He is bright, capable, decisive and experienced . . . but what I like most about him is that he is kind and has empathy. He is a wonderful human being. Would highly recommend him to my family and friends.

Dr. Tuten has no personality at all very hard to talk to and couldn't figure out why I was having issues with my contact lenses. Went to America's Best and they figured it out.

Only my first visit to this location, but the eye clinic's patient reps were nice & professional as well as Donna the opthalmology technician & Diane Tucker, O.D. Donna seemed personable & engaging. Dr. Tucker seemed kind of "well booked" yet open to answering questions & clarified when I was unsure, thorough & has a game plan set out for a return visit. The one older lady's (in the eyeglass center with the darker brown hair) attitude can use some real work for sure! She was a bit huffy & her demeanor came across with an attitude when I was trying to understand her half hearted attempt at explaining details from the insurance printout for what they have there, but became pleasant upon leaving, ugh! I like the eye clinic's staff here so far, but I'll drive to the Cleveland Eye Clinic further up Chagrin (not part of CCF) to use their eyeglass center. See for yourselves & tell me about your experience(s). ✌??

Drove 30 minutes to come here. Got here at 7:50. Had an appointment for 8:00. I checked in and the lady said everything was fine. I sat down to wait my turn. It is now 9:30. I have gone to the front desk 3 times so far. Each time they say it won't be much longer. Not a customer service friendly way to run a business. Maybe I will try another eye care provider.

I visited this establishment as I am losing my sight in the one eye and am already blind in the other. As an immunosuppressed person, I was pleased to see that there were two people at the door screening temps and giving out hand sanitizer. Once I had found a seat, however, (and one that was not properly distanced six feet from the next one) I looked across the room and saw a man with his mask pulled down off his face. I quietly asked the receptionist if something could be done about this unsafe situation and she brushed me off and said no.To have to choose between quite possibly catching a virus which would certainly kill me and that I’d pass on to my family, or leaving and losing the chance to preserve what little sight I have left was one of the most anguished, alienating decisions I’ve ever had to make in my life.If these are the health and safety standards of the oh so eminent Cleveland Clinic, I want no of it.

Friendly staff, easy to schedule an appointment. The parking is close to the door. Location is near the highway. Great quality service all around!

DO NOT SEE DR. PHILIP GOLDBERG. This man thought, and I quote, that I "wanted him to wave a magic wand that would make all of my problems disappear." He did not want to have a conversation of any kind with me about my developing symptoms or things I had changed in my routine to try and remedy my problem. All he kept saying was "All I can tell you is that your eyes are dry." Pathetic. He didn't even refer me to other professionals who might have been able to help me. This, of course, was all after his assistant had left the room, mid-conversation, leaving the door ajar. She gave no explanation and she never finished her job. Unbelievable. Don't waste your time like I did.

Dr. Shao is likely the best doctor I have ever had. Not only did he make an active effort to try and solve my issues, he is literally the kindest listener and has the sweetest disposition. I walked out of his office feeling extremely hopeful, and I only have him to thank for that.

Large space. I have seen a few doctors here ranging from Opthamologists to Retina Specialists. I like Dr Martin (female Opthamologist ) because of all the reasons you would like a doctor. She referred me to Dr Schacat (Retina Specialist). Clear communicator, knowledgeable, and good bedside manner. His fellow wasn't to my liking, sadly. Sometimes they aggravate me because all they do is duplicate what the doctor is going to come in and do 15 minutes later. I understand the Cleveland Clinic is the world's largest training hospital but still...I am all for learning but not redundancy. Upfront screening and evaluation is perfectly fine but don't merely repeat what the doctor is going to do. They need to remember to hand out sun protectors for your eyes after you have been dilated. Having to ask for them and having someone dig around is weird. Those things should be at the fingertips!
