I highly recommend this beautiful beach! It's the perfect place to go enjoy lake Erie. Wonderful beach, easy to walk out on the rocks and bird watch, great spot for photography, there's a beautiful park with walking trails, benches, everything to make a great afternoon on the lake. Definitely a spot I'll be returning to over and over again!

Small, dirty, need to walk up and down 70 steep steps to get to the beach itself. Parking is extremely difficult. Always way over crowded, can't get a picnic table. Smelly bathrooms are horrendous with trash and feminine products overflowing and onto the floor. Shut them down off season. Metroparks rangers giving out tickets for minor reasons. Dead fish on shore that smell terribly and sea gulls that poop on everything. Rocks in water that hurt your feet. Too much shade, not enough sun. Dogs not allowed on beach. Stay away - much better at Edgewater just down the street with open fields, entertainment, etc.
