Tarvin Auto has been taking car of household fleet of 3 daily drivers for about 8 years now. I know when I take my car there I will get a complete inspection with each oil change and will be alerted of any potential issues. When there are issues between oil changes Tarvin usually is able to assess the issue and make the repair within a day. We really trust Kim and his team to take car of our cars.

It makes me feel so good to have an auto service close to home that I can trust and rely on. Tarvin Auto Service is all that and more. Late yesterday, my car would not start without a jump. I was a bit frantic because I have to work out of town all weekend and I was afraid of getting stranded somewhere. It sounded like either a bad battery or a starter issue. I called Tarvin Auto Service and spoke to Kim. He told me to bring it in as soon as possible and he would check it out to see what was wrong. I took it up right away and Kim personally checked it out. It WAS the battery, which I had only purcased 7 months ago from another venue, and it was still under warranty. Thanks to Tarvin's looking at it right away, I was able to get the car fixed before I had to leave for work. Kim Tarvin does everything possible to make sure we have a safe and reliable vehicle to drive as quickly as possible. He never leaves me stranded. I can count on him for honest and fair assessments... and solutions. I give Tarvin Auto a 5+ out of 5!

Best Mechanic in the area! Very thorough, honest, and straightforward. You can tell Kim and his staff really care. Really went above and beyond for me and did more than expected for an extremely fair price. Earned a customer for life.

Kim Tarvin is a walking encyclopedia about cars. He and his crew do excellent work at a fair price. Above all, my family and I trust him implicitly. If Kim says it needs done, we do it. No games played at his shop.
If you are looking for a mechanic, you have found the place. I've been a satisfied customer over 20 years.

The first time I called Kim he cut me off & would not let me talkhe tells you 2 different prices on 2 different days & then I called Kim & told him to put my vehicle back in my driveway on Friday & didn't get my vehicle back till Wednesday & I had to fight with the Tow truck driver to put my Vehicle in the driveway before I gave him the $500 for doing nothing to my Vehicle & I had to stop the Tow truck driver & get my Keys back.

It's been 18 years since I left Elkhart, IN where i felt like I had a great mechanic. I've lived in Oklahoma City, Germantown, South Bend, West Lafayette, Fort Wayne, Lima, Ogden, and now Batavia and during that time I've always found good enough mechanics. But this week I found a great one that went above and beyond, really listened to my concern and my families needs and did everything they could to accommodate us. They were very open about what the issue was and even showed me first hand what they found. While my car was in the shop they kept in touch with updates on status and part orders. I cannot recommend these guys enough.

My brother passed in a terrible automobile accident. The guys at Tarvin were very compassionate and gentle with me regarding the situation and helping to resolve the situation regarding his personal belongings left in the vehicle.
