A typical great YMCA. I just joined and love the facility and awesome staff. It has a very clean and inviting environment. I most likely will be a member for life. So far, so great!

Giving 2 stars, for the reason they close at 4pm on weekends. Dont open until noon(12pm) on sunday. They stay open until 8pm during week. Wished they stayed open until 9pm. 10 would be perfect for alot of people schedules. I know dont stop qorking until about 6. Then i got a hour drive to get open then to head there...

The YMCA as full of caring Christian people both patrons and employees. There is community as well as privacy at the YMCA. They keep an active lifeguard on duty at all times. Yoga is available for beginners as well as advanced. There are so many timeslots available for each activity.

Everyone at this location, with the exception of one woman is so nice and friendly. Everything is kept clean and nice. But ofc there is always that one receptionist who doesn’t know how to talk to people with respect (i won’t say her name because i’m respectful but i’m sure you can read the other reviews and use your context clues.) Other than that it’s great! It just really sucks when you’re a new member just trying to ask questions and someone treats you like you’re stupid. Almost makes you just want to cancel to be honest.

Awesome pools (indoor and outdoor Olympic), a rare dry sauna and the awesome friendliness of the Batavia Y staff and members.

Friendly staff and the hours are ok. I gave 4 stars because they don't offer extra classes during evening hours. I work until 4:30p weekdays.

Absolutely love this place has fun activities and Megan who works at the front desk made my experience amazing, it sucks that someone said she was rude because she was an absolute angel

I like playing pickleball and the people that play pickleball. I also like the general atmosphere of the Batavia Y.

I just read Bill Nye’s review of Megan, the Y’s front desk receptionist, and am somewhat puzzled about the negative comments.I have been a member of the Clermont YMCA for 20 plus years and have never been treated with anything less than respect by any of the YMCA staff. That certainly includes Megan. I have witnessed her handle a line of members with a smile and grace. I’m certain there have been occasions when she had to remind a member of the rules that ALL members abide by. Even then I’m positive that she tried to resolve the problem with her usual cheerfulness and understanding.Personally, I think it somewhat a low-blow to hide behind an alias identity to complain, and not allow Megan an attempt to resolve any problem “Mr Nye” may have had about her response to their problem.

I want to love this place but Megan at the front desk has a serious attitude problem. She was extremely rude for absolute no reason. I go in to swim & enjoy the pool and other things it has to offer but she completely ruined it with her attitude. Without her 10/10.
