This place is VERY unprofessional, very unpleasant management to work with. Two older ladies to be exact. Favoritism in racism diffently comes in to play. I was lied on just to get let go. They will never be upscale like other companies WARNING ⚠️ Not a good place to work.

This is my first job offer that I got through a temp agency. This is also the first job that I've worked during recovery that I was told I was doing a great job at every day I was told I was doing so good and they were amazed that I was the one of best packers they had on second shift even though the rest of my shift didn't speak English. I just celebrated them telling me I was getting hired in Thursday last week after only being a temp 30 days but they said it would take a couple weeks to get the paperwork turned in and everything I just turned in my paperwork in Monday and everything was getting filed no issues, I drove to work today which is now Wednesday got there early like always and they were in the parking lot and they told me that I'm being let go that upper management said to end my assignment immediately with no explanation at all. I was never late I never called off in fact I was early almost in half hour early to an hour early every single day sitting in the parking lot so I can make sure I didn't miss any days I did everything right for the first time in 15 freaking years I did everything right I was so proud of myself my life was actually coming together for the first time in a long time. Yea my forst few weeks i was exhausted i havent worked a job 50hrs a week in 10 years!! It took my body a few weeks to adjust to 2nd life. 50hr a week. But i had been fine not tired just normal the last few weeks i was improving constantly!! my kids are proud of me my parents were proud of me everybody was damn proud of me and you know what this isn't a me problem I didn't do anything wrong the temp agencies says I didn't do anything wrong the guy above me was right the rest of second shift all the people with their green cards not even American they're outside drinking alcohol and dumping the empty bottles in the dumpster across the road after work and drink on lunch break in the parking lot those people got hired in how!?!? it was a real slap in the face to literally do everything right I was respectful I was nice I did my job I kept my mouth shut I didn't do anything illegal and when I was asked about the situation I told the truth just to get stabbed in the back like that I'm really really hurt I thought I finally found where I fit in it and was so happy to be given the chance to change my life around it was quiet there was no chaos I was left alone I just came to work did my job and went home how are you going to tell me that I'm one of your best workers on second shift and then let me go with no explanation? At least the best thing that I got out of this was knowing that I'm capable of working again and this will not set me backwards because this wasn't my fault at all it's a company problem obviously upper management needs to do some work because they let go someone who could have really done good for their company but they're going to keep the people who are out drinking and partying during work that's okay but fire the girl that was sober doing the right thing crazy....

Place is ran poorly. As much as they argue that there isn't favoritism there most definitely is. People drink at work and in the parking lot. They don't stay up to code with OSHA and when something needs fixed it takes forever. They had me on a forklift before being trained or certified. I honestly thought it was a good place at first, but then I got fired over an accusation, someones word against mine. I also got accused of lying by one of the higher ups and they don't know what they're talking about. Stay far away from this place!!!

Work through a temp service, and as stated by another male, the women there feel like they do no wrong. I had previous experience doing equivalent to the job, but on a larger scale. The woman who did the training was very insecure about her abilities. She continously repeated herself on how to do things, even though you were told repeatedly. I let her know that she didn't have to do that. I was even securing the pallets and she still repeated herself as it was being done. Her comment was, I wanted to make sure you knew. But it was already being done. The trainer also showed disrespect by telling me to shut up and even added in explicit language. They fired me but did NOT reprimand her. She shouldn't be a trainer!! If you're a male, a true male, you don't want to work there. This job was a good fit for me but unfortunately I knew too much that made them feel insecure.The manager sets the mindset of the warehouse and she was stressed over small stuff, which made the whole environment stressed. She didn't trust anyone. Counting and recounting. If you can't trust your employees then don't hire them.The double standards there are unbelievable. Manager doesn't want anybody talking, but how are you to communicate? While the women talked, and talked and talked. Wore headphones, earbuds, etc.. But would over throw her position to a male. She was not an organized individual herself. Not trusting, being overpowering, double standards, amongst other things. You will NOT keep good help by always pointing to someone else and not the appropriate people. I wish them luck....they do need it.A change in warehouse management and trainers to someone more applicable and organized for the job will be a great start. I know my abilities and could have had that place whipped into shape before August when Fall and Winter Plan-O-Grams needed to be changed.

I was hired by a temp agency started Monday I have a hard time seeing but can see small print fine, started training at 830 am doing fine packing by 1030 they pulled me from training and put me some where else. Never said a word to me about anything.Get home and I get a text saying that they pulled my schedule because I was having a hard time seeing their products and I'm slowing their production down, I only TRAINED for a hour and a half how in the HE** I'm I slowing production down yeah I have a hard time seeing but I was doing fine seeing their products so I guess it's ok for them to discriminate against those who can't see very well just disgusting.. And by the way I have an eye appointment Friday thank God I didn't cancel itan

place is terrible, worked there for almost a year through a temp agency to ultimately be fired because of double standards. never was hired in, never treated like a human there, makes mcdonald’s look like a good job!

I worked at the place through a temp agency for three days before I got fired for something extremely petty.The work is fairly easy it’s just a lot of paying attention to detail.I got fired because I put labels on some products in correctly and no one showed me how to do it the right way at first.Apparently you can’t be human and make mistakes while in training period.If your a male in the warehouse department I wouldn’t suggest working here because it’s full of misandrist women particularly in management who hate men and will fire you any chance they get.I do appreciate my trainer in particular she was fantastic and did show me how to do the labels correctly after I messed up.I really hope change happens and because this is not how a company builds good reputation or respect.

This company distributes decent products and has an all around useful catalog. But they harm themselves by not offering public sale of their items. It leaves customers no option in finding out of sale products in their area and unable to buy bulk.

When I had dealings with Hiway Distributors, they were very professional and super great to work with! They always held up their end of any deals and worked very hard to get the new and up and coming merchandise to my store!
