Worked on this location for a little bit. I quit because of the obvious favoritism. I used to cashier here. The problem? They have employees who is supposed to be a cashier and would check out a few people then turned off thei register to help with self checkout or do something else instead of doing their assigned job for the day as a cashier. Then the manager will see them and says nothing. They then just stand there talking. These cashiers that are trained to do self checkout or coordinator act like they are the boss. I shopped their recently and still nothing have change. Same people who used to be my fellow cashier act like they are a team.leader or a boss. This place has no chain of command. You have cashiers bossing some team leaders and never really doing cashiers job. Other employees are treated poor while the favorites get to refuse to do cashier eventhough they are supposed to be cashier for the day. They have cashier who is paid like $11 doing coordinator and bossing around team leader who is making like $16. I noticed some team leader who are not favorites are stuck doing cashier while the regular cashier are standing there getting paid to chitchat all day. Wheres the chain of command here? The word respect does not exist here. Poor management, i would suggest applying somewhere else because like me and a lot more quit the job because of poor management and favoritism. If you work here right now and you are not a favorite, i'll give you a few weeks and im sure you are gonna quit. Some rude nasty costumers to deal too. HEY People who shopped at this store! be nice. Most of their cashiers that are always working are not treated good if they are not favorites. Those staff always standing there are the favorites! The cashiers are not paid good enough to deal with rude nasty horrible customers. Im glad I quit and moved to a different store!

Who's the tall kid standing by the self checkout doing nothing but playing with his lanyard spinning it around on his finger while talking to his co worker girlfriend with long black hair?. Is thier job to just stand there and B.S?. She stands there spinning her lanyard as well doing nothing. I noticed them again today and several other times doing this upon entering the store to start my shopping and 40 minutes later when I'm leaving they are still doing the same thing meanwhile only a few cashiers open with long lines. You can't really use the self checkout easily with a cart full so I'm forced to use a cashier and while I'm waiting in a long line watching these two lazy bones lovers having the best long conversation of thier life. That guy is probably the best lanyard spinner I've ever seen, he's obviously got a lot of practice but she's pretty good herself. By the way, I've filmed the last time and next time I will film it again and I'll approach them to get their name from their name tags and submit the videos to corporate with a long hand written letter!. Im going to start adding their pictures here on the reviews if it continues. Get it together Giant Eagle. I've never see this at Acme!.

I give this one star just because the cashier I believe shes either native american, asian or mexican was very nice. She needed help since i used my otc card and she had the light blinking but nobody on your overstaffed people that are always just standing there and yapping notice her light for a long time. Until she finally raised her voice to get attention. Your cashiers are overworked yet you have so many staff just standing there yapping at each other. I notice same faces everytime i shop at this store are just standing there, young faces that could definitely work. Are they bosses? If they are, they definitely is not doing a great job. They are mostly standing there talking among themselves infront of registers which make it hard to get the cart on the aisle, too much staff just standing!

Love their bakery and their fried chicken! I think this store is well stocked and clean. I appreciate the organics they carry and I can always find help when I need it. I've heard late at night there might not be as many staff at check out but I don't expect that.

Nice place! I still prefer H.E.B. (My Texas family knows!); however, it’s decent! The employees were nice and helpful and the store was clean. The best part…look at the photo! There is a nest in the “e.” The million dollar question is..”Is it an eagles nest?!” That was a Dad joke, I know.

Cashier was awesome! He noticed one of my yogurts had been opened and after he scanned it twice and paid I went and got a replacement.
