Disgusting (and likely racist) behavior from some of the staff at this location. I am pregnant and I just got wic today. I went to this Marc's with my husband. I made sure to follow "wic approved" stickers on the products we got and also followed my "food pack" guidelines. We completed the transaction as normal, and the cashier gave us our receipts. The cashier was very rude in her conduct, acting as if she was inconvienced throughout the transaction.
I went to my car and suddenly heard screaming and yelling. Turned around, and 2 staff were telling us "your Wic card paid for everything but 11.54!" What?? They CHASED us out of the store and didn't even have the decency to tell us when the error occurred, instead opting to treat my husband and & I like criminals in a PARKING LOT when the CASHIER made a mistake.
We still don't know what ever went against the wic guidelines, considering we got milk, a cream of wheat, carton of eggs, fruit/veg, cheese, and bread. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service - maybe instead of screaming and yelling at a customer in a parking lot, you could gently tell them there was an issue OR don't complete a transaction then act like we're criminals because I didn't even know anything was wrong until you scream and yelled at both me and my husband in a parking lot. My husband also said they described us as "wic people" when he went to pay for it!!!!!
I am never shopping here again. Glad to know this store will likely be obsolete like K-Mart in 10 years if this is how they treat people.

I have work at Marc’s for a long time, listen when I tell you don’t work for Marc’s my old boss Sue is worse than anybody else. They have also a toxic workplace to work four so please do not apply for the Marc’s.

This store had applications right out front and I took one. My son went to turn it in and the guy looked at it and said no immediately. Why have the applications front and center if you are just going to turn away a candidate with out even an interview.

I have noticed that this store has higher prices on certain things than other Marcs locations, so pay attention.. The Avon store is the worst I have been in. The store is supposed to open at 7 AM. Some one usually wanders up to open at 7:05 or 7:10 while you wait standing outside to get in. When inside, the store is so under staffed that the only place you can pay is at the service desk. The only ones you see working there are senior citizens because the younger people do not want to either work or show up on time. Very sad situation. It's not really a fault of Marcs.

I love Marc’s! I have been shopping there my whole life, but this particular location has the worst customer service…. This situation had to do with a sale on 2 liter Pepsi, 3 for $4. When I seen the sign, I just so happened to run into an employee. I asked if I can buy “cases“ of Pepsi. He went in the back and called the manager, who then showed me where the “cases“ of 2 L Pepsi were on the pallet I grabbed a total of four cases (32 bottles), and when I made it to the register, the cashiers didn’t want to ring up all those 2 liters so she told me there was a limit. When I went back to speak to the manager that showed me where the cases were he told me “put them back” but no where INSIDE the store said anything about there being a limit. As I was setting the cases of Pepsi back I then hear him tell someone to change the signs inside the store and add a limit to them.

Love Marc's and have shopped here for years.Please correct your hours in Google! There are no more senior hours. Yeah, I know, I should have called and verified before getting up and leaving at 5:30am to beat the Thanksgiving rush.

This used to be a good store but lately they are slipping. 2 weeks in a row now I purchased groceries and 2 weeks in a row I was charged more than the advertised price that was on the shelves. I had to make a stop at customer service to get refunded the difference. Very inconvenient. Today I told the clerk in customer service that I thought only Dollar General pulls these kind of shenanigans with the pricing. I guess not. Watch your receipts when shopping here, or better yet, shop somewhere else.

Best Marc's store within driving distance. The Marc's on Route 254 is not even in the same league as this Marc's. And the Marc's out by the old Midway mall is the worst of them all. Take notes all you other Marc's and the management at those places as well
