Purchase a storm door and front door from the Avon Lowe's. This is the awful installation of the doors. Gaps, deep scratches and broken dry wall.

If I could I would give them -5. I contracted Lowe's to install a vinyl privacy fence last May (22). They contracted RE Connor out of Columbus to do the job. Finally installed in October. November 3, I contacted Lowe's to inform them neither gate was operating properly. They sent RE Connor back out to repair. They put band-aid on it and of course it did not last. Called Lowe's again, they sent RE Connor back out again - different crew this time. And this crew blamed the first crew for the issue. They put a band-aid also! I called Lowe's for the third time gates still not closing without us lifting them up to close. Third crew came again blamed other crew and put another band-aid. Now no one will even respond to me. And when they do, they tell me to try a different department. So Lowe's is fine with providing SHODDY, UNPROFESSIONAL, WORKMANSHIP FOR $12,000! The only two things on the fence that I utilize are the gates - and I cannot close either one. DON'T TRUST LOWE'S - THEY DO NOT COMMUNICATE, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! My salesman would not call me back. Oh, and did I mention, one gal at Lowe's called me and said the last crew decided it was an ACT OF NATURE! And, if I wanted it repaired I would have to pay for the materials. I also forgot to mention the first crew left many bags of cement and stones they didn't use. NO ONE KNOWS WHAT IS GOING ON AT LOWES'S. I HAVE A FENCE WITH TWO GATES THAT DO NOT WORK AND LOWE'S IS FINE WITH THAT! SHAME ON LOWE'S

I was directed towards the Avon Lowe's location because they have a larger selection of blinds and window coverings. We are doing a large home renovation and have spent thousands of dollars at the Rocky River Lowe's and Avon Lowe's over the past several months. I needed to return a pair of Levolor cut and trim blinds purchased from the Rocky River store, and intended to buy a replacement. I took them with me to Avon. The customer service representative was so rude and actually sneered at me as she told me they wouldn't take them back because they were not purchased or cut at their store. She indicated that those blinds cannot be resold, however if you walk through the blind section of any Lowe's you will see a dozen repackaged cut blinds. So that's not true. They are not even discounted after their cut. While I don't agree with that policy, Lowes should be consistent across the board between stores, my one star review is fully based on her attitude and poor customer service. I have never received quality service from the Avon lowes. I would recommend Rocky River any day of the week.

Rocky River Lowe's BUYER BEWARE. Went to Rocky River Lowe's January 14th and ordered a Airens Snow blower with my grandson. Our Ohio winters are bad and our driveway huge. Ordered a huge snow blower secured it using a Lowe's Charge card because they had many to choose from then came back and brought cash to pay it off. The delivery was set up for January 22nd. In the mean time we had a huge snow storm and driveway full and so glad we ordered snow blower ahead of time. Next thing we know Lowe's calls us and tells us they had to back order our snowblower as they sold it and no more were coming in for the season. I was so upset I called the manager Dan he said nothing he can do. I ask him for district managers number he said no he won't give it to me. So now we're watching news calling for snow knowing we have to get out of drive to go to work the rest of the season.

Bought a refrigerator. Bought the warranty, the new water line, paid for removal of the old appliance. However, sale's staff "forgot" to tell me that the delivery team will not go into your basement to turn off the waterline to the refrigerator. The shut off must be in the kitchen or they will not hook it up. They will not hook it up if you turn the water off yourself. I had a plumber come and relocate the shut off valve. They delivered me a dented refrigerator! I refused it. They said they would bring a brand new one the next day. They brought the exact same dented one back! They had already put my old one in the truck so I kept the dented one and they said I could schedule another delivery for a replacement! That would be four deliveries just to get a refrigerator from this company! Days of waiting for their four hour delivery windows, several hours on the phone being transferred to numerous people that had no clue to finally getting someone in the shipping department that could offer me a whole 10% off for all of my time wasted and headache! Worst store EVER!

They just never seem to be knowledgeable about products and how to do it yourself projects. They have a wide variety of products, they just don't have the service. ACE personnel much more knowledgeable.

Went to Lowes in Avon, Ohio to upgrade our kitchen appliances, i.e. Stove, microwave, dishwasher and a granite composite sink with a new Delta faucet (alone about $600). Anyhow, the microwave, dishwasher and sink installation went flawlessly however, after 2 months still waiting on the stove. Apparently the clerk in appliances did not charge us for the removal of the old stove and after three weeks of waiting, wife called and got that all straightened out with a delivery date of the 17th. Anyhow, guy shows up today to remove the stove but did not bring the new one to replace it. On the phone again and after talking to multiple individuals they said it was a logistical error with their delivery/installation folks. Said the stove is still setting in the store!? What does one do, and waiting on a phone call tomorrow to figure it all out!

Wow! I can't believe what just happened. When checking out I had a choice between the cashier wearing her mask down around her neck (which we all know is far more effective, sarcasm) and the cashier who didn't have a mask at all. Neither had gloves on. The cashier without the mask came over and from 4 ft away told me to come over to her register. I didn't want to but my goal was to get out of there as fast as possible at that point. Of course I pointed out my lack of viable options to the mask less disease spreader and she starts an argument with me about it. While flapping her gums at light speed spewing out venom towards me she moves around to my side of the protective glass and steps 3 ft from me to ring the up the items. This rendering social distance and the protective glass ineffective in move on her part. TOTAL IDIOT MOVE. Unless she was doing this knowingly on her part which would be recklessly endangering another person's life. So this is what you are in for at Lowe's in Avon Ohio. You are better off doing to Home Depot! DO NOT GO TO LOWE'S.

An employee was rude to us for no good reason, and management wouldn't even talk to me. I contacted Customer Service and they didn't care and neither did management. Thing is, I was relatively new to Lowe's because I always shopped at Home Depot and Menards. I will not be shopping at Lowe's again. I will go back to Lowe's and Menards. Bad location for a bad company.

We love Lowe's. we always find what we need. Just wish the manufacturers wouldn't make it so you have to buy one thing to get another. Just wanted screw anchors and had to buy the screws to get the anchors. Oh well, can never have too many screws, I guess.

I purchased drywall and insulation and set up an afternoon delivery because I work nights. They said between noon and 4. I get home at 5 a.m., they pound on my door at 8 a.m. I told them they were early and he said I understand. I don;t think he did. I told him to take it back. That I wasn't even ready for them.I called the store and they said "well , you were our 3rd delivery. I said, so if I was the first would you have knocked on my door at 6 a.m.? Customer service that doesn't care about the customer or that THEY picked the time for me to sit and wait on THEM.

On this visit I went there to try to find something that can remove overspray from my sealer to my siding. I stopped by the paint department on two different occasions and I always seemed to get someone who was filling in for the paint person. When I finally got a paint "expert" they did the same thing I did. Read the labels on cleaners with no real knowledge. After trying a few products I finally found the right one. Could have used someone with experience to save me some trips and some money. At least they had the product. I will teach them next time someone else comes in looking to remove some sealer from siding.
