UPDATE: I did call the number provided by the bank response below. They referred me back to the same person who has failed to answer his phone or voice messages since the beginning. So when you see them responding online, there is actually no help given. My suggestion is to keep your money far away from this bank!I have banked with 53rd bank for 9 years. During that time they have failed to send me ebills for my credit card accounts after failing to set it up the 5 different times I sought help over the years. Four times, the bank has randomly removed funds from my account. The first 3 times they admitted error and returned the funds. The third time they kept the money! A few hundred dollars. No one from the bank branch will help me and the numbers they gave me don't pick up or return voicemails. I've been disconnected during transfers 3 times. Once after being on hold for half an hour. After 3 months, I must accept that the bank took my money and has no intention of returning it or even addressing the issue with me. I will be closing my accounts but will never feel safe with any bank again. I feel completely victimized by 53rd bank. I think this bank is corrupt and do not think this is legal practice. I do not recommend trusting this bank with your money!

I recently had to cancel my card because I thought I lost it . So I had to wait 4 days for another card. I got my new card in the mail Saturday , activated it I Went to use it at the atm today and it took my card and said denied. It was the first time I used it since activating it. And now I can't get ahold of customer service until Monday . I've never had this many problems with any other bank before.

Efficiency in helping customers isn't a priority here. I've stopped here a couple times and I'm always standing around waiting unlike any other branch I've been to. Today, I stood in a line of 5 people that didn't move for 10 minutes so I left. There were only 2 people working the desks. As I left, I noticed 2 guys sitting in there personal office chairs playing on their cellphones. Direct customer service might be good but that doesn't matter when I have to stand around waiting.

The worst Fifth Third branch I have ever been to. Every time I go to this branch it is nothing but issues. Staff is polite and good at offering explanations. The policies they state they follow are not the same policies every other branch I have been to state. This branch will never receive my service again.
