Such a lovely store with everything you need but didn’t know it until you saw it here!!

OMG. I went into this place for the first time & absolutely LOVED everything! Very unique & one of a kind gifts. Prices were great. Owner is wonderful. This place is a MUST to go to for gifts. Everything is just fantastic! It is located next to the Strip Steakhouse. I will be back again next week!

Look, I usually love Details; my family and I spend a lot of money there every year. It’s so charming and has cute stuff BUT I just had a horrible experience with the owner, Lori. I purchased a bracelet and necklace just shy of a month ago as a Christmas gift. I had to return the items because the person I purchased them for gets rashes from metal. I live in Chicago and this was the soonest I could get back to Avon to return them. Lori was extremely rude about the return stating it was outside the return policy of 14 days (which no one informed me of when I purchased the items) and said she’d only give me a store credit of $150. Okay, that’d be fine but I tried explaining I live in Chicago and couldn’t come sooner, her response was “well I could have sold these 3 or 4 times over by now.” WOW, how’s that for customer service? Even the customer in line behind us thought she was being rude and she also had an attitude with the woman checking out in front of us.
Bottom line, this was a really disappointing experience and it’s hard to believe this behavior was coming from the owner.

This is one of my most favorite places to shop! Not only do they have such unique and charming items, but I find the customer service to be the best of any place I've shopped. Very personable and friendly!

To be transparent, Marlene is an employee of the store and should have stated that in the comment. I am a regular customer and have had less than favorable experiences with Lori as well. Small town businesses rely on the local customer and typically strive for exceptional customer service.

The customer over reacted & then to post this comment is uncalled for.Customer service is always excellent & the return policy very fair.
