Rude staff especially over the phone where they can be brave. Inaccurate taxes.All around don't recommend.Save yourself the hassle and go anywhere else.

After 10 years of doing my taxes at another place I decided to come back to H&R since my CPA came down with a medical condition. Now I know why I stayed away. I had to go back multiple times because of issues. After doing my takes and paying federal, the feds sent me back a little money because of an overpayment. Then a month after the tax deadline the call me to pick up a form. Apparently the city tax was short and we owed more money. I went to this place because I was hoping to get my taxes done right the first time. It's obvious they don't have their A game on and I am no longer going here for any taxes. I'll just go back to my old company and have another Tax person do mine where they check each other to ensure everything is right. Not happy at all with this company and now I know why it took 10 years to come back. Never again. I thought I was getting what I payed for but I actually lost more.

If I could give 0 stars I would.Shawn Lauffer was incredibly rude.I selected my appointment online, for drop off with a 15 mins consultation. This is something the website offers.From the beginning of our conversation he was extremely rude to my mother who usually does my taxes. She had questions and hoped maybe he had answers.He would not let my mom talk, kept cutting her off. When I tried to explain what my previous employer did, he got really rude and would not let me finish my sentence. If the website offers 15 mins consultation why be so rude about it?He then walked away from me completely. Horrible establishment. I will take my business elsewhere and let everyone know how horrible this place is.

IMO, This is not the firm that you want if you want accuracy and professional service. The legal and other rep.'s hide behind meaningless comments even though the paper trail shows errors and inaccuracies in their tax prep. Legal rep.'s are arrogant and unprofessional bullies, IMO!
