I rented a 1bed/1bath with loft townhouse here for 2 years. It was the absolute best place to live. Convenient, clean, well maintained, excellent staff. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The pool is wonderful, great neighbors. I wish I didn’t have to move! I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice place to live.

Beautiful apartments is what gets you but their walls are made of paper ?. If you are a minority of any sort don’t move here they will harass you, the property manager “Dave” his sister “wendy” and the other tenants who live on property. Legally they cannot deny you because of race but as soon as you move in they will make it so uncomfortable for you to come home that you move out as soon as you possibly can and then they will add random charges that doesn’t pertain to you whatsoever. If you’ve experienced this get an attorney and sue the complex for discrimination. They spread your personal business to their favorite tenants just to make you even more uncomfortable.I saw Dave scream at his bar staff just for helping each other carry food items into the bar for an event because he was having a “bad day” and his sister Wendy laughed aqua staff is extremely unprofessional besides Lori she is the only person in the office that is professional and extremely polite but unless you’re an older white male or female you will not feel at home.

I lived here. My apartment was a one bedroom 810sq ft for my boyfriend and I. We were so happy because the apartments were new and right across from the lake. The first day we moved in the police arrived to make sure we weren’t breaking in. My boyfriend is black and I'm Mexican, so I wonder if someone was suspicious of us because we are young minorities. Then after 6 months we were asked to move to another unit because we were too loud for the women who lived below us. Everything made us uncomfortable. Being at the gym, the pool, going for a walk. Pretty much this is a retirement home that doesn’t do well with minorities and if you do anything wrong they will report it. Worst 1.5 years of my life.

Let me start by addressing that I lived here June 15, 2019- May 2021. We did break lease a month early. I gave three stars because this place did have redeeming qualities. But there were also A LOT of negative factors too.Pros: when we lived here, there was a lot of families. My kids made some great friendships and so did we. Many of which we still talk to. Our last year living there, there was a lot of renovations going on and the gulf course was removed. My kids loved walking the neighborhood and playing with the kids at the tree area by the pond. All in all, we felt safe here and our kids were safe going house to house playing. It is close enough to the lake that we would walk every day and the kids could play at the park. The bowling alley next door wasn’t an issue where we were located. We did have friends that were on the side of the bowling alley and they said aside from noise and car lights they didn’t have any issues.Cons: very poorly constructed especially for the price. We had a two bedroom and could hear everything our adjoining neighbors did and they could hear us. Walls were paper thin at best. To the point that if someone in the adjoining units smoked, you smelled it too. Our biggest issue was our neighbors. They made the place a nightmare for us. If it wasn’t their constant partying, it was there unprofessional business calls they took outside all day long. So we got to hear all about their clients. Their dog was always in our yard and despite trying to make amends on a few occasions, we ultimately gave up hope of having any peace. While I didn’t conduct myself in the best of manners all the time, we did try. With kids, some behaviors we couldn’t not ignore. This family was previously a street over and had the same issues with neighbors, so we weren’t the only ones. We contacted management daily to no avail. So to say we were thrilled to move was an understatement. During the winter the snow plow people they had would pile it at the end of your driveway. Our last year there I was pregnant. The one time in particular I was on my way to an appointment and had to cancel because I was trapped in my driveway. At 6 months pregnant I was shoveling my way out of my driveway crying to management about how unreasonable and dangerous this was. Not only for myself but for the older community living there. During the summer there is a wonderful pool. But if you have children please be aware, the older people do not enjoy the noise and splashing that children bring. They often complained about the children that swam there and the noise. Children should be seen and not heard I suppose.Anyways,I could go on and on but I will spare the nonsense and just say this.If you are willing to pay more than a standard mortgage on a home, for a beautiful community with poor management then this is a great place. Here is my last example to prove my point.Prior to us living there, someone had a cat. The place smelled of cat pee when we moved in which I noted on our paperwork. Down the line we got a cat. It then peed on our carpets to mark a previous cat. Long story short. We offered to pay and have the carpets replaced with hardwood floors (beautiful quality might I add) and management said no because what we picked might not be what the next owner will want. Huh? So they would rather have pee filled carpet? Hmm sounds gross to me. We were then charged for the carpets upon moving out. Despite cleaning them the best we could and offering to replace on our own dime.

My 2 daughters and I rented for 2 years at Aqua Marine. I moved there because I suffered a stroke and stairs were difficult for me. I stayed in the apartment condos. They were super nice and affordable!! Everyone in the office was extremely nice and helpful every time I called or stopped in! I dealt with Lori and Dave the most. I made friends with people on my floor and everyone looks out for everyone else! The maintenance crew always came within a day if I needed them! The pool is wonderful in the summer- I became friends with many. I recommend Aqua Marine!

We have been at the Aqua Marine for nearly 7 years and consider it a great place to live. It is convenient to shopping and other services without being crowded. The Manager and staff are friendly and dedicated to helping the residents. The maintenance staff is the best we've ever dealt with. They are courteous and helpful. We recommend the Aqua Marine without reservation. Kay and Jerry Kerwin.

My husband and I moved here from FL a few months ago, and the front staff was a pleasure to work with. Trying to find a new place to live living in a different state was tough, but they made it stress free and easy. Neighborhood is very quiet, and apartments are very roomy!

The staff at Aqua Marine is amazing. Everyone is friendly and courteous. They helped me with all of my questions as I was making a big transition in my life. The apartment was well maintained for me and ready for me to move in when they promised. All I can say is thank you to the Aqua Marine staff.
