“Let me start my review by saying this hotel is beautiful and historic so if you are looking for a simple chain hotel then don’t stay here. I booked a night for my husbands birthday, our room was simple and beautiful with a whirlpool bathtub. The front desk was very helpful and attentive, they will get you anything you need. The dining experience was perfect with all the dim lights and romantic ambiance. We ordered the chicken Parmesan and cabin chicken pasta, this food was excellent. The bartender and the waitresses were on point and super welcoming. We were served coffee and muffins the next morning on the back patio which was gorgeous. This place has so much character, not your same typical hotel so if you are looking for an awesome experience stay here. My husband also received a massage and he said everyone was super helpful, friendly and clean. We will definitely be back, thank you for a wonderful experience.”

“Everyone was so nice and personable. We were here for two nights in cabin #17. Two bedrooms and slept 6. Love being able to sometimes eat out and sometimes cook for ourselves in the cabins. We never did see any ghosts. ?Probably better luck around Halloween. Had breakfast in the dining room and everything we had was delicious! Was looking for koozies and their signature lotion from the gift shop as I've gotten from the other Ohio lodges and conference center gift shops, but they didn't have either. Maybe next year? Yes? One can hope. No hot tub in the hotel or cabins. Though the heated indoor pool was a little too cool in the morning but was great after 8pm. The shopkeepers in and around Punderson Lodge were so personal. So nice. So helpful. Loved shopping all around in Newbury, Chardon, and Burton Ohio!”

“The family in charge treated me exceptionally well and helped me (1) check in early and (2) find an extra quiet room where I could get some sleep during the daytime. I really appreciated their efforts as I am an extremely light sleeper. All in all they made me feel welcome and well cared for. Thank you.”

“The rooms are large which is nice. I book 2 queen bed walk in shower. Room was clean. The shower had cracked floor and was leaking water under floor. When noitfied mangement sad we know about it. Manny in housekeping provided excellant serice with our requests. That man deserves a raise. Location is great lots of shopping and food places. Close to twinsburg if go to the festival in august.”

“We stayed for 2 nights for a family wedding in Aurora. The room was so comfortable and clean. I really appreciated how they handled cleaning service, giving us the opportunity to request what we needed daily and otherwise not bothering us. The service was great. The bar was beautiful and had great service as well. We would love to stay there again and would highly recommend!”
