Update, I had to return an item that I bought on Black Friday. I’m notorious for losing receipts. I went in the store and spoke with Tia. Tia is a wonderful person. Very friendly, outgoing, and helpful. Definitely has manager qualities. She did not know how to handle my return without a receipt so she asked for the manager to come over. That woman is abrasive. The same woman I dealt with a few weeks ago. She gave me a hard time for not having a receipt, even though she could easily look up the receipt with my rewards number. I mentioned that I liked to shop at other stores because they emailed receipts. She said we do that. I said really because no one ever mentioned it to me. Tia was kind enough to email me my refund receipt and take care of me and In a really kind friendly way. If I have to deal with that manager, I never want to go to that store again. She’s awful. Why would you give someone a hard time when you can look up a receipt in one minutes or less. Ugh!Eddie Bauer store as a whole is amazing. They carry many good quality cotton items that seem to be hard to find these days. They also have some really great amazing lightweight, backpacks that I love to purchase. Everyone in our family has one. Unfortunately, one of them had a manufactures defect where the seam came apart about an inch and a half to 2 inches on the backpack. None of the others had this problem and it was right on the seam. It was purchased within the last six months, and I was not planning on returning it, so I did not keep the receipt. The woman that helped me with my exchange of a defective item was absolutely horrible. Aggressive rude nasty only begins to describe this employee. I gave three stars because the company itself is amazing and has great products. But they need to focus a little more on employee training. She did the exchange, but was not nice about it at all. Then proceeded to tell me make sure you keep your receipt if you plan on returning something. Well, I don’t plan on returning any of the four backpacks that I purchased in the last six months unless they have a defect and I don’t know that they’re going to have a defect until I’ve already thrown the receipt away cause I don’t usually keep those more than 24 hours. I went in, feeling happy and friendly. I came out, feeling irritated, disappointed and angry. That’s not how Customer Service should be.

Cashier asked me to put in phone number. She said it was for reward program, but its ok if i didn't want to sincei was just buying a cheap pair of pants. Told me to hang onto receipt, rolled her eyes eyes and said good luck as a parting response? Maybe she was having a bad day, but i won't be going back. Especially if all im buying is "cheap" pants

I do not go to the Aurora premium outlets very often. Most of the spaces there are empty and some of my favorite stores that were there have closed. However, the other day I went into Eddie Bauer to look for a pair of sunglasses. Not only did I buy sunglasses at a great price, I bought some clothing articles that are the highest quality and incredibly comfortable. Also, the sales staff there were some of the most helpful and pleasant people I have seen in a clothing store in a very long time. I'd like to thank them for everything they did.

I really like Eddie Bauer, it's a store that you need to visit at different times of the year. I couldn't find what I wanted or needed.
