When I needed a shorter chin strap, instead of selling me one, Mr. Steve punched new holes in the leather of our old one. When a snap on my daughters bridle broke, he helped us piece together parts from another bridle we had to make it work, instead of trying to sell us a new one. Friendly and neighborly service, can't beat their prices, great variety! We have gone here many times and they always have what we need. Everyone is so helpful! We are so appreciative and grateful. Thank you Carl's Place!!!

Carl's is a friendly neighborhood family owned shop that has everything you'd ever want or need for your horse from tack to supplements and everything your stables needs, plus the folks there are knowledgeable professional friendly. Carl's prices are very reasonable, especially if you know what it really costs to own and care for your horse

Rude, rude, rude. Went in on a Saturday and was told I could exchange or return blankets if they didn't fit on the following Monday. The blankets did not fit, returned on Monday, and the (comparatively) younger guy implied that my barn manager didn't know what she was doing, although she has a lifetime of experience. He also said he would hit my equine when I described behavior I would like to modify. I got strong alcoholic/wife beater vibes there. I had thought toxic masculinity was a myth, but I was wrong. Then during the return on Monday, the old guy started whining about how they were going to prosecute me if my check bounces. Class! I had been courteous, and I was appalled at his mouth. I had tried to pay with a card on Saturday, but their credit card reader was down I had offered to wait until it was fixed, but they declined and said pay by check. I I won't be back.
