I had a job interview there yesterday. Was a half hour early as I am for most interviews. Sat another 15mins past my interview time. It started bad instantly. When she asked why I hadn't worked a job in a long time I explained I have been disability social security for mental health problems. Immediately the vibe in the room changed. And I felt so wrongly judged. It was like no So are you doing better? It was pure judgement and her saying something like OH SO YOU HAVENT WORKED?! It made me feel so low. So inadequate. Like I was worthless. She seemed so cold and very judgemental. Then she said there's no guaranteed hours. But it's part time. I told her I have completely open availability but would need time off for counseling and my wife's broken back she sustained in a car wreck. That didn't seem to go over well at all by her responses and body language. Then to the drug test. Which she said absolutely no drugs. We test to start and randomly. I explained I had my Medical Marijuana Card to treat my severe anxiety and ptsd(but I wouldn't be using it on the clock) That didn't go over well either. Completely shittiest interview ever. Felt like an interrogation. Constantly being judged. Me and my wife had over 500$ in our Lowe's cart online. We will NEVER BUY A SINGLE THING FROM THEM EVER AGAIN!!!! DONT TAKE MENTAL HEALTH SERIOUSLY OR RESPECT PPL STRUGGLING WITH IT ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY WANT TO WORK! She wraps up the "Interview" with well well keep your application on file for 30 Days. So basically not getting called back!!!!!!

This place is run by a bunch of amateur kids who know very little about professional behavior and customer service. After four (4) different delivery/installation teams have attempted to deliver and install my washer/dryer set I had to hire someone else to finish the job. The first kid from the XD said that he didn't do installations and if I had a problem with that to call Lowes. I called the Athens store and spoke with some kid who wouldn't tell me his name but insisted that I call him Mr Assistant Manager: he basically told me that if I didn't like how Lowes does business that I was welcome to shop elsewhere. After over 29 phone calls between the XD, the Athens store, and corporate, I asked for a refund and was told that they would send another delivery team to pick up the appliances. Almost 30 days later, and multiple phone calls to corporate, they still haven't come to get the appliances, so I hired Menards to come finish the job.

I've never posted a bad review before today and have worked in customer service my whole life (so I get that things happen). However, my boyfriend and I ordered new flooring for our home two weeks ago, with everything stocked at the store and we set delivery for yesterday 9/12/20 (and paid for that scheduled delivery). I took off of work so that it could actually be delivered and we had a contractor coming tomorrow (Monday 8/14/20) to install this flooring. It still says online that our scheduled delivery date is 9/12 though. I called customer service and the woman did nothing but say that she's not sure why it wasn't delivered, as everything just needed to be put loaded on the flatbed truck and delivered, and gave me the number for the store. I called and was transferred to the delivery manager, who didn't answer. I called back three more times without even getting an answer. This is extremely frustrating because we paid all of this money for flooring and the scheduled delivery fee and I can't even get someone on the phone to do something about this. I also missed an entire day of work for nothing which is more money out of my pocket. I've always gone to Lowe's and we've spent a lot of money there but unfortunately I think we will be taking our business to Home Depot, considering they have exceptional customer service in my experience.

Poor customer service. Called ahead 4 hours ahead of time to see if my order I placed for pick-up 2 days prior was ready and they told me yes. Drove to pick it up with another truck and trailer to wait an hour and be told it wasn't ready. Such a waste of time and poor service. If it wasn't ready they should have just told us so we could have left and come back the next day when it was ready. Instead we lost an hour of work time for no reason.

Called into Lowe's and the lady said "How May I direct your call?" Super fast. As I was trying to tell her which department, she just hung up in my face. Good Customer Service here apparently.
