I recently sold my 2018 Toyota 4Runner to Don Wood Hyundai. Not only did I get the best price for my vehicle, but they also drove me home 3 hours away in Lisbon, Ohio! My local dealership never even got back to me with an offer! Guess where I'm going when it's time to buy my next car? The whole process was quick and painless, and the people treated me like they actually cared. These days that is a rare thing.

Took in a 2019 Sonata for an oil change and tire rotation. Was quoted $86 on the app. They said the filters needed changed and never quoted a price. Charged $79.98 for the filters and then $15 to install them. One filter on Hyundai parts store is $22.16 the other is $17.80. I would not recommend, paid double what I was quoted in the beginning. Prices do not match what is on the app nor do they inform you when they want to add "services" how much they charge for those.

The absolute worst treatment I have ever encountered. I was ignored, disrespected, disregarded and felt completely invisible by the sales guy, Mason, Phil, and some other employee. They made me feel as a woman I was less important then men, very chauvinistic vibe!!!! They bought my 2017 civic si, they talked to my son the whole process like he was the car owner, we made it clear several times I was selling the car and to communicate with me. No hand shake, no eye contact to me, no introduction. Then, they had the WRONG car paper work for me to sign!! They never explained what I was signing, I had to ask!! They guaranteed an over nighted check for payment… after 4 days of waiting, I contacted Phil via text. He was rude, I asked for a tracking number, he never supplied one to ME but blocked me after I asked for one. Rude, unprofessional, and seem to dislike women or treating them equal to males. Also, look up KKB value for my car they are selling. It’s way over priced!! Also, make sure the AC works!! Absolutely disgusting experience!

The Don Wood experience has improved so much under their new GM Zach! I had a great experience with him and Eddie, a salesman from Don Wood Toyota. I'm so glad that Athens has a great place to buy a used car on State St.

I didn’t buy here, but I did sell. I was given the best price for my vehicle compared to what I was offered by other dealers, which I appreciate. I felt like the time it took to get my check was a little on the long side, but at the end of the day I have my money and I’m happy. I was told it could take up to 4 weeks, but that was quickly followed up with a “…but it could be 1 week.” I thinks it’s better to be on the safe side and tell everyone it will take 4 weeks and leave it at that. Imagine how happy someone would be if they were expecting a check in 4 weeks and it came in 2.5, rather than thinking the best case scenario is they will have it at the end of a week and 2.5 weeks go by before anything comes. I understand the flaw is in my own thinking and that’s why there’s a 5-star rating.

Bait and switch.They are still advertising vehicles they don't have.Do not waste your time with this dealer.Even their posted price on a used vehicle is a outright lie.I have purchased over 40 used vehicles in my time,both private and public.This dealership is a new level of low.

We had an excellent experience purchasing a Palisade through Don Wood. Chris, our salesman from Toyota, was able to show us models from several different manufacturers and we ended up purchasing the Palisade (which was not his usual brand). Trey, a salesman at Hyundai, was very enthusiastic and skillful about showing us the ins and outs of the new vehicle, even though he wasn’t the lead salesman. The financial portion was low stress and as pleasant as possible. Can’t stress how reasonable this experience was . . . No need to travel out of town for a pleasant car purchase experience.

Worst customer service ever!! Tey never get back to customers on their inquiries. They say they'll call back & never do!!! My ABS system broke down suddenly & they don't have the parts and have no idea when it will be repaired, leaving with no loaners car, stranded with no means of transportation!!!

Trey Gilden is the perfect person to work with! He was able to get me more money on my trade than any other competing dealer. He went above and beyond for me and my wife! 5 out of 5 stars! Phil Coffman was very hands on and involved with us early on. Can’t say enough about this amazing experience!
