Ordered via email...and received a quote immediately. My required lumber was not in stock so they promised to call when it arrived...and they did. I arrived and paid..no confusion or delays. The guys who loaded my truck were friendly and quick and paid attention to the lumber placement...no damage to truck or lumber, no sliding, and no wait. The lumber was good, just common board but with clean, square edges (no missing knots, cracks, chipped edges, banding damage, gouges, or dents). And the prices were pretty good too! My order was small for them considering the huge supply of neatly stacked lumber I saw while I was there, but I never felt like my business was valueless. A well-operated business staffed by polite and professional people will keep my business forever. I had a great experience and absolutely recommend Carter Lumber!
