“I come here multiple times a week most of the time.

The store is always clean, well stocked, and staff is always friendly and available!

But the main reason I wanted to review is to give a shout out to their employee, Cliff!

I came towards the end of the evening to get blue Gatorade. Unfortunately once coming to the register I realized I left my card at home in my purse. While trying to figure out if my phone had Apple Pay, cliff went above and beyond and paid for the Gatorade for me.

What cliff didn’t know is there’s a reason I come to the store so often for Gatorade! It is all my autistic child will drink and she burns through them like gas. I had a long hard day with her when coming to the store and was feeling so down and exhausted, dreading the idea of driving all the way back home to get my card, and that small act of kindness from Cliff turned my day around. He didn’t have to do that but he did!

Great store and employees! The young lady that works there is incredibly sweet too! And cliff I will be back tomorrow with the 8 bucks I now owe you!”

“Great little store. Great dollar store (they do sell a few things over $1.25 BUT they are in a designated area with signage so that you are aware it is OVER $1.25 which is awesome). Awesome staff. And quick checkout too.”

“A quick shout out to two exceptional employees at this Big Lots location. I called this store from out of state to inquire about a recliner chair purchase for a relative living in the area. The friendly Brenda answered the phone and patiently listened as I explained what I needed. She directed me to the very helpful sales representative Clay who went above and beyond to answer any and all of my questions about different chairs. He had such a pleasant attitude and it was obvious, he cares about the customers. Such outstanding representatives of the store should be appreciated and rewarded! Thanks for having such great employees....they give the store a great reputation! 5 *****”

“This Dollar General is absolutely amazing!! My sister made a quick trip and I forgot to have her grab Fairlife Chocolate Milk. I called her phone only to realize she had forgotten it. I called Dollar General and Sandy answered the phone. She was slightly taken aback (understandably) by my request but she came through for me!! She told me that she’d relay the message to the cashier and she definitely did. My sister came home with the chocolate milk and I couldn’t have been happier.What seems to be a small gesture is huge to someone else. Thank you to the workers at DG!”

“This place is GREAT! I always get some really great deals here on some really cute clothes whenever I make it in to shop. So much of the stuff is so unique. I saw plenty of Ann Taylor, Chicos, Express, Victoria Secret, and plenty of other name brands from which to choose! They also had A BUNCH of really nice looking boots of all different shapes, sizes, and colors. For the people that work outside I could not believe the huge selection of outdoor stuff they had to keep people warm. I know for a fact that I have paid so much more money for that kind of stuff in other places. And these gloves feel just as warm!! And of course, since they have so much Victoria's secret stuff..... That fun stuff was definitely less expensive here than it is at the mall. And the customer service is great.... This very nice guy named Chase gave me a very nice warm greeting as soon as I came in the door. And I think that he said something like....(In a very warm tone ) ... If you see anything that you like.. it's 20% off! Even though there were signs everywhere, I had somehow missed that! Haha....they were having a special sale. Chase was very helpful throughout my visit whenever I needed any help or had any questions. This place is great. As a single mom, it has saved me many times. I can get really cute clothes at great prices. And like I said, the staff is always really nice and friendly. If you look at my pictures..... Those are boots from Express which which had been marked down to 49.99..... there were no defects ..they were in great shape. I peeled that off the 49.99 pricetag and looked at the original tag...original price was 78..... But I think that I paid about 15 bucks for them at DFWH. If you're a single mom or want a great deal, you might want to check out this place. :)”

“I go there several times of the year when at the Cardinal Center... always nice service an staff... last year at the end of August.. they closed at 3:30 PM... pretty sad... people do not want to work... and as much as people want to shop... hopefully 2024 will be different... I liked their produce dept. and selection... in the store...”

Just be prepared to exercise some self-control, especially if you're trying to stick to a budget!”

“I go here all the time. One big thing that drives me nuts is customers re- arranging the shelves. There's only 5 employees. They can't do anything about it sometimes. People always complain about the availability; you know what? Then drive to Marion to Walmart. It's a cheap convinant store what do you expect?”
