“We drive a good distance to buy my husband's work boots and shoes there, because of the quality, price, and service. I recently noticed that they also carry the brand of shoes that I buy and at a better price than I have found them elsewhere.”
“The employee were very accommodating, helpful and friendly. There was a good selection of shoes, cowboy boots, soft and steel toe boots from good vendors.
A purchase of soft toe boots was purchased by my nephew. We were told that a free lifetime of shoelaces and every couple of months the boots could be brought in for a cleaning and application of boot oil/finish would be applied. They also had a nice selection of belts and some sandals.
We have purchased from here before and will do so again.”

“Love this place, have purchased many boots and shoes here, we always stop here when visiting Amish country. I purchased a pair of Red Wing boots a couple of months ago and on the third time wearing them one of the hooks for the laces came right out. Very disappointing for Red Wing, I expected better from this brand, however I took them to Mt. Hope and they quickly and graciously repaired them free of charge. Great people, great service. Would highly recommend this establishment.”
“We parked to have dinner next door at Mrs. Yoder's and I was intrigued by the shop so I decided to stop in. There was a huge selection of name brand shoes (sketcher, SAS among others) along with warm weather gear and even hockey sticks. One thing I was impressed with was the selection of shoes that they had in size 11s. It is often hard to find shoes in my size. I had no intentions of buying shoes that day but was so excited to try on some of the fun ones I saw that I had to. They had some awesome cowboy boots reasonably priced (but more then I would pay for something I wouldn't get enough wear out of). I fell in love with a pair of step in sketchers that were priced about $5 less than I had seen when looking at similar pairs. The staff was incredibly friendly greeting us when we walked in checking in as I was trying things on. She mentioned styles she knew came in 11s and was helpful without being too attentive. If you are in the area and need shoes, definitely check it out!”

“Called the store on a Friday night to see if they had a specific kayak in stock . I spoke with a gentleman by the name of Russ and he was SO helpful . Yes they had the kayak and Saturday morning my husband went to get one and again there was Russ . Top notch customer service, very polite and very helpful .”

“One of the few stores I can get decent priced shoes for my large feet. Many stores do not carry my size except for this place and at times they have name brand shoes in my size as well. It is hit or miss on finding shoes and the store is generally a little messy as well but I find that all of the Shoe Dept are usually messy not just this location.”

“This is a very nice store it is very clean very well-stocked and you can find a lot of items that you need for the farm including a great pair of shoes. The staff here is very friendly and very helpful in finding the things that you need and ready to answer any questions you may have. Prices are good and the staff is very friendly”
