I had them repair a ring by placing a tiny diamond back in place. It only took only a few days and looks good as new when returned! Price was reasonable as well.

The lady who helped me today was very nice and knowledgeable, and the prices were very reasonable too!! I think I just found my new jeweler for whenever I may need or want something!! It's a family owned business, so I'd rather buy from them than from the big chain jewelers, like Kay or Zales! I'm getting a ring resized that I just purchased from them and I think I'm going to be VERY happy with it!! Check them out. They have something for everyone, plus they repair jewelry and will buy unwanted jewelry as well. I was impressed with them!! A LOT better than the other place I stop at a few days ago in Lorain and they are family owned too, but I definitely didn't get the personal attention I got, like I got a Vegas Jewelers in Amherst!! ?

Vegas Jewelers is a lovely local establishment to work with! I’ve taken in several pieces over the course of a few years and have had excellent service each time. Most notably was my husband’s custom ring. It was made at another jeweler but still had what looked like slight scratch marks on the white gold ring. Although the original jeweler re-rhodiumed the ring, it was never quite the mirror perfect finish I was expecting. I decided to take to Vegas Jewelers who buffed and re-rhodiumed the ring and it was the best the ring ever looked! They also took care to resize and re-rhodium a white gold ring with an odd karat (a ring purchased in Ireland). I also appreciated their honestly dealing with my ring. I inquired about having it re-rhodiumed, and they would have, but they said it was still in great shape and to come back in maybe 8 months to a year. I appreciated the honesty! I also had an aquamarine gem from a pendant placed into an heirloom ring setting as well. They were upfront about the cost before starting the custom service. No one likes to be without their jewelry and each time, the turn-around time has been impressive and prices are incredible. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

The fittings on my wedding ring became loose after almost 20 years. The repair was quick and painless, and when I got my ring back it looked brand new again! Just amazing! I hadnt even realized how dull it had become. I'm so happy with it, I absolutely will use Vegas again to maintain and repair my jewelry.

A tiny bit nastalgic going in there as it takes me back to my childhood in downtown lorain & Seymors Jewelers...not sure if its the smell, or people or seeing older jewels from estate sales! Anyways...very very good service always. This is the only jeweler i will buy from. They do great repair work & ring sizing. Theyre alwsys willing to go the extra mile for a customer! I always know i will get a fair deal there no matter what.
