What the hell Vape shop cheap gas not Marathon. Got off turnpike for this crack spot. Located right next to hotel so homepeople in cars lot is normal.. Worse experience for a Sunday morning

This complaint concerns a Marathon station attendant at 960 N. Leavitt Road, Amherst, OH 44001. The incident occurred between 8 - 8:20 pm on Monday, August 14th, 2023. I was on pump No. 4, which malfunctioned, and I was blamed, yelled at, and thrown out of the store for calling it out. As soon as I walked into the gas station, the attendant was in a surly mood. She was on her computer with her back facing me. I wasn't greeted with anything except an attitude and a perfunctory 'Whadaya need?'. I got $60 worth of gas, and after paying the money, the pump would not release any fuel. I tried several times before hanging it up and trying again. When I went inside to alert the attendant, she said, 'What happened is that you hung the pump up. That's why it didn't work.' That is not why it didn't work. I tried explaining to her that the pump wouldn't dispense any gas and that I tried over three times to pump the gas BEFORE hanging it up and starting over. That didn't register for the attendant, so she repeated the same incorrect assertion that it was my fault that the pump wouldn't work due to me hanging up the pump. After several failed attempts to explain myself. She started yelling to the point that I asked her: 'Why are you yelling at me?' She didn't answer the question; she just yelled, and as she got louder and more unhinged, she said, 'Get out of my store!' Here's the gist of my complaint: The attendant never listened to me. She went on the attack as if it were a knee-jerk reaction. I was accused of being at fault when I did nothing wrong. Her attitude was outrageously out of line. I've been a customer of that particular Marathon station for seven years. I've never had a problem. In fact, I've talked to some of the same attendants for years and have great relations with them. This attendant is new and doesn't care about any of that history. That said, I will never set foot in that place again. Why should I? Do you think it's worth losing a customer's business over someone with an anger management issue? I'm sure that I'm not the first person to have an altercation with this person, and I'm sure I won't be the last. As a manager and inspector of another business, I would expect you to conduct an investigation. In my opinion, she should have nothing to do with the public. That interaction was toxic, and the whole exchange was completely unnecessary. If she had only considered my side of things, the conflict could have been resolved. Again, I'm never going back there. I'll find another Marathon station, but you guys should be aware of who and what you're dealing with. She'll burn you guys. Just sayin'.

Was confronted by someone who appeared to be a manager or owner when i paid him with a dollar bill with part of the end missing. Honestly, i didn't even notice the bill wasn't intact. He made a big stink about me giving him a different dollar. I declined and told him that it was legal tender. He felt compelled to then explain to me how nobody will want this as change and what an inconvenience i was causing him. I don't know how this guy is used to treating people, but he came across as pompous and rude. Won't be going back to this gas station. Plus, their food isn't very good. Definitely don't get the beef sandwich, it tastes like salty, wet cardboard.

If you like gyros, check this place out. I recommend the giant gyro and pita chips with some extra sauce for dipping. I tried the gyro melt once, but prefer a much sharper Swiss cheese so it really wasn't my bag. The service is always fast and friendly at a very good price point.

Yum!! Best gyro in Lorain! Shout out to Ali, great host of Nate's Marathon, home of the giant gyro!! YES, at a Marathon gas station.... he's got a very nice variety of gyros! Along with awesome sides, like red skinned potato salad, coleslaw & the pita chips with special dipping sauce is soo good! Then, to top off everything, you get a free Lorain journal or Elyria Chronicle with $10 purchase of fuel. #satisfiedcustomer

Nates has the best Gyro around! Gyro House or anywhere else don't got nothing on Nates Marathon, try the hummice and pita as a side it makes it even better! Reuben's also amazing and great service! Stop through you will not be disappointed!
