Dealer is honest. He's not asking much and will tell you the cars are basically a grade or two above salvage and trade-ins, sold as-is. Nextdoor is a dealership that sells good condition cars at value. This dealer sells used cars that may not be more than $5000 and worth every penny of that low price. The ratings here seem to be from people who believe they can do better. They should keep in mind they spent $2000 or less on a vehicle and expected it to run like new.

WARNING!!! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE! If I could, I would not give this place any stars! I bought a 2004 Hyundai Sante Fe from here for $2,200. Nick is the one who sold it to me. He said he just got the car in the other day, but he did a safety check, and drove it himself and said everything was fine. I buy the car and take it to get looked at. It was put on a lift and determined that it needed brake and fuel lines. It's completely unsafe to drive and the brakes could go out any second and gas could leak and my car could blow up. It was never even safe to drive. It was also determined that it needs a timing belt, a radiator, and a new gas tank. This would be over $1000. I went back to Nick at Shawnee Motors to see what could be done, and he refused to help me. Would not give me my money back, trade me a car, help me get it fixed, nothing. It also turns out that the car never had a used car certified sticker in the window, which is illegal. These people are illegally selling cars and screwing people over! I am now out a car and $2,200. Do not go to this place what ever you do!

I would have given zero stars but i had to choose at least one unfortunately! This man Jay Allen is a "Cheat" they've been ripping people off on vehicles for quite some time now because i remember them having a totally different location before they moved to 1275 Ohio Pike. Me and two other people i know have bought vehicles from him with the promises that everything was fine with them until it was time to take them into the shop, The mechanic at the shop noticed lot's of by passes where the vehicles were tampered with to make them run longer one being "Sawdust in the transmission" So i called Jay Allen up on it and he denied everything putting on this facade that he was a very honest car salesman! My other two friend's vehicles did not last long at all with them being junked in the end, Bad transmission in one and the other blown the headgasket's...BUYER BEWARE! You have been warned...Do not throw away your money with this place.

WARNING!!! "DO NOT" by any means buy a car from these people, They have been in the Amelia area for quite some time now ripping people off on bad vehicles, They were at a different location before their new one on Ohio Pike...Me and two other family members bought cars from Jay Allen followed by his assistant Bill Fox they were all three in very bad shape days after we purchased them "As Is" at first the cars ran okay but further investigation from shops we took them to found liquid substances in areas of the car indicating they tried to mask the problem temporarily just long enough for us to get them off the parking lot of Shawnee Motors Group...I am writing this review to look out for others so they do not have to experience a tragic nightmare!!! Do yourself a big favor and take a mechanic with you when shopping for a vehicle.

I bought a 2005 Silverado 4x4 from them in Feb '09. The truck is a cherry! Bought it with 81,000 miles on it. It now has 155,000 miles on it. The check engine light has never come on! It's a great truck! Will buy from them again. UPDATE 6/29/2016 I still have the 2005 Silverado. It now has over 227,000 miles on it. The check engine light finally came on. It was a bad gas cap! The truck is a cherry! I will definitely buy from them again. That is if this truck ever stops!

Honest dealer. They actually pride their selves on selling quality cars. I bought a 2012 Ford Fusion from them and love it. I will recommend them to everyone I know looking to buy a car.
