DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Our floor drain in the basement backed up so we called Midwestern for a warranty call (our house was recently built) @3:30-4pm on Friday. Saturday morning we were having breakfast and smelled a horrible smell, went downstairs and guess what… drain backed up again with apparently sewer water since there’s toilet paper in the water. Called again at 10:30am. HOURS go by with at least 3 calls back to let them know we still hadn’t heard from them. On the 3rd call I told them to cancel the call I was calling someone else. Funny not even 5 minutes later I get a call saying this was the first time he’d been notified. He said he had a few other calls this evening but would call me back in 30 minutes to let me know when he’d be here…….almost 9 hours later still no callback!

The technicians showed up on time. A couple minutes early actually. They were friendly and professional. In a timely manner they fixed the problem I was having. Explained everything very well and were very knowledgeable. I would recommend this company.

Submitted a request online around first week of April and after a week with no response I called. The woman who answered the phone informed me they showed no record of the request. No problem as I had come to find out they recently migrated to a new system. I understand things happen. The woman gave me the direct number to Mike B who would take point on my request for service. She said be sure to text pictures to this number and he should connect with you within 24 hours. I took photos and texted right away. Approximately 3-4 days still no response. I tried calling the number and left Mike a VM; no response. I tried texting the number but same, no response.
Around April 11th I opted to click on the "contact us" and emailed John V and explained the situation. John replied quickly, indicated he saw the request and forwarded to Mike. Wouldn't you know it, Mike called right away! Mike was polite and professional. He took down the details and indicated they would probably have to order a proprietary bracket to complete one of the jobs -- no problem. Mike sent me a quote April 12th.
I reviewed however it wasn't itemized as I had requested considering there were 3 projects and were part of a large renovation. I sent an email follow-up request on 4/23 to which I received no response. I sent a second email follow up request on 4/29 (no reply) and on 5/6 (John V CC'd), crickets. I went so far as to call and leave Mike VM to return my call. Still nothing. Time to move on.
I'm happy to say I went with another plumbing company who has since been able to meet my expectations and understands the importance of communication and doesn't ghost its customers.
It's difficult to imagine that communication would be so difficult. We have so many wonderful ways in which to communicate nowadays that one would think we would be masters at it. I tell clients all the time "The worst thing you can do (or say) is nothing at all. By virtue of saying/doing nothing IS saying something. It tells the customer all they need to know."

I've always admired and dependent on Midwest for my plumbing needs, but $ 580.00 to install a toilet is simply outrageous! Because of mobility issues, I decided to have the toilet installed professionally, to my surprise, I wound up helping the plumber lift and mount my new toilet. I wonder if advertising during the Reds games has influenced the pricing.

The customer service here is horrible! We set up an estimate to have 2 storm drains replaced (big project, they have to dig trenches to get the old pipe out then put down gravel and lay down new pvc pipes in 2 areas across the yard. The guy is there like 5 mins, takes photos and gives my husband a price and my husband says let me talk it over with my wife and I'll get right back with you. He emails the guy that night and says that yes we'll hire them. We hear nothing for 4 days but someone from their company called Duke because Duke came out and marked the utilities with spray paint and flags (underground electrical wiring in this neighborhood). We thought ok that's weird since they haven't even called us back to set up a day to do this. My husband calls and ask for a supervisor to try and find out what's going on, get voicemail. Supervisor calls back says he doesn't know anything about the project and will find out what's going on and get back to us. A WEEK goes by and NOTHING. This company completely ghosted us. I think the young guy that came out bid too low on the project and they don't want to honor it! Don't waste your time with them, they wasted our time AND Dukes because it's now been 2 wks and Duke will have to come out and remark the lines that have washed away so the awesome folks at Zoom Drain can accomplish what Midwestern Plumbing couldn't and at the same price :)

They did a great job replacing my outdoor water spigot. However, they cut an away extra drywall in my finished basement. They did noting to repair what they cut away. I called to see if they could come and fix the drywall that looks horrible. They told me they do not repair it and that I would have to do it. I’m very disappointed.

This was a disastrous experience . Took a month and several calls to get the part ordered, the two guys who installed tank broke the first one and had to have a second delivered. Less than 48 hours later my 86 year old mom had no water on a Sunday. Calls were made at 8 and 10 am for help with NO return call back. My sibling discovered part of the problem and again called for help in the afternoon. Was first told a supervisor would call him, then told Oops sorry you will hear back tomorrow. Not to mention the "repairmen: left a full shop vac in the basement. The only reason they have 2 stars and not 1 is because the folks who came Monday did solve the problem and were very courteous. What kind oof company leaves an 86 year old woman without water because of their screwup!!! I could overlook a lot if they had just been responsive. Not impressed. We have used them for years and never had this kind of treatment.

I've been using Midwestern Plumbing Services for two years now. All employees I've delt with are friendly and professional. Josh Beighley is my usual contact. He is always prompt and courteous with his response. I would recommend their services.
