Our experience with Clay's Auto Shop was a very pleasant one. We have (1) Car and (1) Truck from Lonnie Clay currently and he was Honest, Upfront, and Flexible everytime. We have also had work completed on our Vehicles here, the Mechanics are really nice and got the job done at very Resonable Prices. No complaints from my husband or I, we will continue to be customers at Clay's Auto Shop.

Bought an f250. Clay would not come down on blue book price. He must like this truck I thought. On the way home the brake caliper started freezing up and I almost wrecked. No one even pulled the wheels off to check the brakes! So $500 brake job and that fixed that. Gets much worse... A shimmy in the drive line turned out to be a bent drive shaft! Had to get it straightened by a machine shop. Truck had also gone way over miles so was in dire need of plugs, coils, pulleys, belts, etc. $1800 bill for all that so that's $2300 total in repairs for a truck Mr. Clay sold firm at blue book. Made sure to have me sign an "as is" form of course. Please don't buy from this guy! He is a scam artist.

I don't usually write reviews. However, in this case, I felt compelled to share my experience. I found the vehicle that I was looking for, after negotiating with Clay's Auto I received a very fair deal for the used van that I purchased. They kept all their promises and delivered everything on time with no surprises. I'll be going back for another vehicle soon.

Lonnie is a sweet guy. I came to him asking for a $500 down car and he said he would see what he can do. I ended up putting $700 down on a 2005 cobalt with 115k miles. It had a few issues but he helped work them out. Some other people reviewed saying that he doesn't help if your used car breaks down, but i didn't find that to be the case. he does what he can, but in the end it is a used car and anything can happen. I walked in on the first day of my new job and he worked with me to get a reasonable price and payment plan. He drove to my house to fix my brakes when they locked up a few weeks after buying the car. I'm not making any promises, but he appears to keep his. I don't know what happened with other people who reviewed this place, but to me, he was honest, accessible and kind. I think some others might be passing the buck on to my boy lonnie. Give him a try.

I purchased a vehicle with Clays' Auto. at the time of purchase the owner told me he would fix all issues with vehicle while I was paying payments directly to the lot. % months later No repairs No return Call the few fixes he did was no actual fixes just cover ups. All vehicles are over bluebook. BE Warned this is a dishonest dealer by someplace else. Don't believe the sales pitch to get you to buy from him he does not follow through with what is promised.
