Duchess is a 24/7 stop known for snacks, drinks, and gas. It offers typical pre-made sandwiches, hot dogs, corn dogs, pizza stuffers, and fresh bread. Unique items include a popcorn machine and Buffalo pretzel pieces that are damn delicious, along with local yellow jug milk. The business also sells beer, cool drinks, and lottery tickets, which seem popular. Experiences with the staff vary; a lot of the workers are nice and down to earth, with some smiles that make customers feel welcome. The attendant can be professional. However, some workers are pretty rude with tones, and some don’t talk at all. A common criticism is that workers can be lazy about stocking the fresh food sections late at night, which is frustrating for people getting off work. All around, it is a good place to stop, especially when other stores are closed.
Was in Alliance for the tournament. Stopped here for gas on my 6 hr drive back home in Maryland. I got a couple drinks also. Attendant was professional.
