I had to visit this Five Points location on two different occassions in recent months (April 2024 & May 2024)...one of which involved getting an issue resolved. I had a great customer service experience BOTH times with an employee by the name of Azuree. She went above & beyond to assist me! Her graciousness and kind spirit are RARE these days and did not go unnoticed. I have also sent a detailed message directly to USPS in hopes that she will be recognized for a job well done. Keep up the good work!
Shoutout to Lawrence as well who kindly offered to carry the heavy package I was picking up to my truck on my most recent trip.

HORRIBLE. I have never experienced such a poorly run post office than this one and I am 75 years old. They refuse to deliver my mail because the temps on this route don't want to climb 6 steps to my front door. "Management" is worthless and will do nothing to help. In the meantime, we get mail MAYBE once a week if we're lucky. Terrible customer service and lazy workers.

Station reported that they attempted to deliver mail yesterday at 8:50pm, but couldn't because of an animal issue. Not true. No animals. Nobody on the entire street received their mail yesterday. An ongoing issue.

By far the worst post office I have ever been to. The employees are EXTREMELY rude and the “supervisors” are no help either. Absolutely terrible service.

I was kicked out of this post office on July 11th, for having my service dog with me. Even after I explained that she had to be with me for health reasons and offered to show the worker her paperwork, who was making a scene in front of other customers about her being in the post office. I was told that I couldn't have her in the post office unless I was deaf or blind. She said, the next time I came there that a sign would be posted on the door, explaining how my dog couldn't come in the building. I would have to tie her up outside if I wanted to come in. So I tried to explain that she was a registered service dog again. I also tried to show her paper work, along with the federal law saying she could come into a post office. The worker wouldn't even look in the direction of my phone where the information was that I was trying to show her. She told me, I had to leave immediately. She was rude and very disrespectful. She wouldn't even wait on me as long as my dog was with me. I wasn't allowed to even inquire about the reason I came in for. I was so embarrassed by the scene she had made, in front of everyone that I was crying by the time I walked out of the post office.

So today 7/5/23 I took a prepaid SMALL boxed item to the post office. As I was waiting I asked if the tape on top of the counter could be used for the top. The young lady kept asserting and insisting the box may not make it even when I used a glued large sticker and tape a lady gave me. It felt like it was a threat...for an old dead phone? All because I asked for a piece of tape? Unprofessional.

Hours say open at 8:30. Not open until 8:50 with customers waiting. No apologies. Mail delivery is eratic, also.

Don't know how many packages have come up "missing" over the years. Don't bother contacting any of their "customer service" people. Their answer is always "we don't know". Like they can't track those "missing" packages to the last person who handled it.

They are always nice and it never really is customers in there so I never have to wait long and my packages I send out always get delivered with no issues I also received mail in the order and way that i should receive it and the mail carrier is super nice I feel like this is the best post office compared to what I’m used to

Update: I no longer have any issues with my mail or packages coming through here. Always on time or early now!
