Great group of employees. I showed up running for the door at one minute until closing. They let me in and gave me the help I drastically needed. They were super understanding and were able to get my package on it's way. Super nice guys. Thank again.

The customer service here is awful. I went in yesterday to try to send two pieces of mail certified and apparently, I was just wasting their time. The kid working the register was actually trying to help me while an older man came out and made every excuse why I shouldn't be doing that in his shop. "It's more expensive than the post office, it won't go out today, we only do this once a year" I ended up taking my pieces of mail back and will go to an actual post office from here on out. I also will not be using them for any of the other services we have utilized in the past. Kindness goes a long way, as you never know what a person is going through. I hope you remember that with your next customer.

What’s the measurement of good store service? It’s when you encounter a problem and the staff does everything they can to get it resolved. The UPS Store #3008, 3465 S. Arlington Rd, Akron OH gets a 10+ rating in this regard.
I recently returned five Amazon products at this store. When I got home and looked at my receipt, it only showed four. I talked with Allen at the store, who gave me instructions as to how to help him rectify the situation. Within a few minutes of his razzle-dazzle help, I got an email from Amazon saying my return was on the way and a refund would be issued.
A bit later I got another email from Ross at the store in which he cautioned me to be sure Amazon credited my account.
This store always has quick, friendly and polite service. They have always gone “above and beyond” for me, sometimes helping me with heavy or bulky packages. It is my preferred return center, even though there is a Kohl’s nearby. It’s a great friendly “in and out” experience, even when the store has a lot of customers. They move everyone through quickly. I highly recommend this store.

OMG you're slightly better than the USPS. Making delivery changes with FedEx takes 2 seconds. There's nothing worse than when a company ships products to the house through you. The last thing you are is convenient.

I tend to have a little bit of a complicated process when it comes to sending out my packages for work, but the two gentlemen at the desk were not only helpful, but truly welcoming and kind. They were knowledgeable and were great with communicating any information I might need regarding shipping time and the cost of services before they even performed them.
They were very professional, and it definitely made the shipping process go quickly! I was in and out in under 10 minutes. One of the best quality UPS stores I've been to in a while!

Recently, I had an opportunity to experience the Best customer service of any business I have come in contact. I had some important documents that needed to be in hand before I left for a flight. Ross Gamby and his Team at UPS store #3008 in Akron raised the bar on customer service. I called Ross from out of town, to get me the documents to me in Georgia. Ross intervened and collaborated with his partner stores on Savannah to make sure my documents got delivered to me in hand well inadvance of my flight. Not only did he collaborate with his partners, he emailed me, copied his partners in Savannah, and followed up with phone calls and email communication to make sure I had the information accurately, and on time. He sets the example of what a successful business owner should be to make sure the customer is First. I had a return for Amazon , was a gift from friend for baby shower . I wasn’t sure of the process since it was a gift , from a registry . I asked the front desk person , she seamed irritated of my presence . She did not know how to do what I requested. After a long silence I suggested she ask a supervisor . When she asked , Ross “the manager I think “ told me I have to talk to the person who bought it for me . I suggested this was somewhat crazy , as some larger Amazon registries have dozens of returns , there’s no way ! Ross suggested this was “common sense, you simply have to talk to who bought it, have a nice day!”. FYI Ross is wrong , and in fact opposite of amazons policy. The overall experience was poor , and customer service knowledge was seemingly extremely low for what I would assume to be a common question . I have had similar experiences with other team members at this specific location . Therefore I found it noteworthy to write today .

When I walked up to the counter, the rep said he was helping someone else and to go to the next register. I waited for a minute and another gentleman that looked like he was training that rep, asked me if I had been helped. I said no, and he yelled in the back to what sounded like someone on their phone. When Donald came to the counter he said, “What do you need?”
