We've had my granddaughter at Goddard since she was 2 and she's ready to graduate from Pre-K, it has been the best experience we could have ever dreamed of. The staff is amazing and give loving care and excellent education to each and every child.We will truly miss everyone at Goddard and cannot thank them enough for everything they've done over the years!Jeff and Annie Hawkins

I worked here a few years ago and would NEVER send my child to this center. I witnessed verbal abuse and other questionable things in the toddler room with the lead teacher whom I believe still works at the center. She was absolutely horrible and abusive to to the children. She would act completely different in front of the childrens' parents. She was also the director and owner's favorite employee so they didn't seem to care whenever she received a complaint. I remember a couple taking their child out after bruising was found on her arm. I never witness what happened, but can almost guarantee who put those bruises there. Furthermore, I was a Black employee and remember the owner paying a similarly aged/experienced white employee more than me. THIS is why he bans employees from discussing how much money they make LOL. The owner was extremely rude and disrespectful as well as the directors who often gossiped about the families. I'm no longer in the field, and will be graduating from medical school soon so this is not about me being a disgruntled employee. This was truly a horrible experience for me and I think parents should think twice before sending their children to this center.

The owner processed a ~$1300 charge on our credit card without our consent. When my husband and I sent an email asking for this amount to be refunded, he responded accordingly. However, soon after, I received an email claiming that our email was rude? As a result, he asked us to find another school and kept our $200 deposit to hold a spot for our daughter.With our son attending Goddard since he was 18 months old, we were loyal patrons for two years. This meant nothing.The policy changed for holding our daughter’s place outside our agreement. The owner neither communicated this change nor conducted himself professionally.

It’s been 3 days since we started and I’m already wishing google allowed a 10 star rating. Goddard of Akron is an absolute blessing to those who want the highest level of care and education for their little ones. Every part of the process has been a dream. The only question is how can I convince them to allow us to stay in their program through college?? Thank you Goddard of Akron!

As a result, he asked us to find another school and kept our $200 deposit for our daughter.We were loyal customers to this school for two years. This meant nothing, it seems. We understand the policy had changed for holding our daughter's place here; however, the way the owner communicated this change was lacking and unprofessional.

This place was recommended by an advisor of mine. I am a pharmacy intern that stressed that I will start rotations in June and the owner called and stated we had a spot so I signed and sent the enrollment agreement. A week before the start date and many phone calls being ignored he emailed me stating that I no longer had a spot since previously enrolled families changed their mind. So we tried calling again only to be met with another email stating he would not subject his self to phone call that won’t change the outcome. We only wanted an actual explanation and a real apology, since it was such short notice. This is extremely unprofessional, and I wouldn’t subject my 6 month old to a school with an owner such as him.

Our son has attended The Goddard School for almost three years. I truly can't say enough about the amazing staff and program. We love that we can go to work knowing he is happy, safe and very well taken care of. If we ever have a concern it is addressed immediately. So thankful that we have found and become family at Goddard School .

First of all I want to thank Goddard school for taking care of my kid so well. She developed from shy toddler to happy, confident kindergartener. She (and we) made great friends here. I dont think I could have prepared her better for her kindergarten. In all her kindergarten screening teachers were very impress how confident and ready she was. And all credits goes to her teachers and stuff at Goddard. They did an excellent job.When i was looking for daycare for my daughter as like any other first timer mom not ready to leave her kid. I think i was more nervous than my kid. But the support i got from the stuff and the owner was amazing. I felt comfortable in their open door policy that i can call or drop by any time to check on her. Every time i called them i was reassured and all my queries addressed with smile. All the stuff here is very professional. They love those kids. On the day of preschool graduation there was not a single dry eye and that tell something about the strong bond they develop between kids and teachers.

My son has been attending the Goddard School for over a year, and I’m very happy with the care provided. I feel the cost is more than a typical daycare in this area, but I’m more than happy to pay extra when I see my son succeeding. He loves going to school. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

My daughter has been going to the Goddard School in Akron for 2 months now and I am 100% satisfied with the care she receives. Marty, the owner has been very helpful and accommodating since before I even enrolled my daughter. The entire staff is very friendly, and the overall environment of the school is positive and clean. I did a little research and compared between different preschools before I made a decision and I am very happy with my choice.

My son has been coming to the Goddard School for over a year now, we’ve had nothing but positivity and warmth from staff. I work here as well and couldn’t picture a better place to be employed. My parents come to me rewarding the wonderful work our teachers go through for the children on a day to day basis. We have a great team here at the Goddard School and I’m so surprised and appalled at the previous negative reviews. Our school prides on our excellency and how hard we work to make sure parents feel the warm, naturing atmosphere. Our team is very creative and there isn’t a thing we wouldn’t do for our families!

My son has been going to The Goddard School since he was 3 months old. He’s now 4 years old. I am amazed at the things he comes home and tells us every night about what he’s learned throughout the day. All of his teachers have been amazing. The staff makes leaving him all day easier with their kind and warm welcome in the morning and picture updates sent throughout the day. We love our Goddard family.

EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!! The Goddard School is such a wonderful place, I am so grateful for such excellent staff that watch our little one! Our daughter absolutely loves the school and smiles when she arrives. I am so happy that she has 2 amazing teachers (Jamie and Madison) who take such amazing care of her, send us pictures throughout the day and we feel at ease knowing that she is in good hands! Could not be happier with Goddard. The Goddard School's owner and staff are absolutely amazing,communicative and do a profoundly good job. ?

Goddard school in Akron does an amazing job. I started my child in the preschool prep class and Becky and Amanda have helped my son grow so much. His behavior has improved significantly. I love knowing what my child does each day and what he shares with me when I come home. The staff make you feel like your child is their top priority. You don't see staff on their phones-very professional. Now my child is in Miss Sarah's class and she is very helpful and kind. I really love this school but I do wish there were a way to allow parents to take their child on vacations and not have to pay for that week that they are not there. Sometimes you have to sacrifice some for your child in order to give them a better education. I really love that they offer programs for your child to participate in too such as soccer.
