I became sick, needing surgery etc. I was put on bed rest. I was still in training on the PT floor. I was told to apply for LOA, I was denied due to not being there for 12 months. I was approved for unpaid leave, leaving me without income or health insurance needed for my treatment, surgery & medications. I was forced to resign from my job in order to receive state healthcare. Upon leaving, I asked HR Rep Susan Ferrebee when I can retrieve my personal belongings I had on/in my desk. I gave her a list of my belongings. One of these items being very important to me as I received it during my pregnancy before we lost her tragically. I was told the days & time window I am able to retrieve my belongings. We agreed. I gave my bf (who works there) permission to bring my belongings home. Cassidy, on the 4th floor, told my bf that they could not find my personal belongings and would work on finding them. I emailed Susan, asking for an update on my belongings as my bf had not come home with them. This was when Susan decided to tell me that I did not have any belongings there to retrieve. I did. I have proof of this as well as more than 3 separate witnesses. I did not get my belongings and they’re now refusing to respond to my emails regarding MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS. I have had to contact not only corporate but also a lawyer to pursue this issue. I believe I’m facing discrimination due to becoming ill and requiring immediate medical treatment. To throw my belongings away, to lie to me and refuse to correct the situation is unacceptable & unprofessional. This is theft of property. This wasn’t just some notebooks that were thrown away. You threw away an item that has memories of my deceased daughter. This will NOT be an issue that is let go of or ignored. I had intended on returning after treatment & recovery but I will NEVER work for a company that does not respect their employees or their personal belongings. Susan Ferrebee, this is on you and I have all of the email communication as proof. Corporate is well aware of this, as well as an attorney.

Horrible place. No one will help you unless you want new service. After that you're basically trash. STAY AWAY!!!

Great place to work at in terms of money and environment. Worst part about it is management and HR. Most managers/ supervisors there steal orders from other call center in other states under their agents' names. Most supervisors advise their agents to log out for 30mins when having a bad day to avoid taking calls to reserve their numbers which is against company rules. Most supervisors also encourage bypassing pre-payment for the sake of the sale even if the reason for passing it is not valid. At the end of all of this, its the agents who get punished. HR is HR, don't expect much from them.

I can't stand spectrum they essentially tricked me into the affordable connectivity program and charged me for service that I unknowingly transferred and they didn't tell me about. they're sneaky and deceptive. They expect people who don't have any money to pay them Out of their ass somehow! Dont get spectrum for ANYTHING! We used to have them for cable and they raised it to 400 dollars a month! They're a bunch of scam artist. If you work there go to hell!!

Partner works for them. She is disabled in need of a double hip replacement and they refuse to provide reasonable accommodations for her. This place needs sued into oblivion. Their workers need unionized and their customers need to leave them in droves. As soon as they cross a line and she is discharged from this company, I will never give them another penny so long as I live.

I do not have service with Spectrum. I would never, as they prompted us to post No Soliciting signs on our doors. I've had Spectrum representatives show up at my home door 2-3 times a week all summer long. They still come by, even with the large red stickers posted on both the front and side doors of my home. I called the local office, which apparently connects to the national line. The representative that answered was incredibly rude and hung up on me. All she said before ending our call was I needed to call the local office (which was the number I called). I tried 2 others (one was a very confused woman, it was her personal line) before trying the local chamber of commerce. As members, I was able to obtain a phone number they used for membership. Wow that's a lot of hiding your phone number... don't want people to be able to reach you? Currently awaiting a call back from a voicemail I left for someone who did not bother to identify the business on his own voicemail recording. I'll see how it goes and then I'll be filing a report with my city authorities.

0 stars really. The internet service itself is good. Customer Service and Billing practices are about as slimey as it can get. Spectrums charging and discounting model is overly complex. We agreed to a deal over the phone, only for a supervisor to later deny a billing credit without notifying me. When I called about it they refused to apply the credits we had already agreed to. Because the billing is complex it takes them a while to review the account and see what the last guy adjusted - the next 3 people you talk with dont have the authority to help you anyway.

I wouldn’t recommend spectrum to anyone. I just cancelled my service and found out that I have been paying for a home phone that I don’t have and never asked for and they won’t give me my money back. And their service sucks.

Horrible service. Went down for a week due to technical problems at Spectrum. I switched to ATT and they charged me for an additional month after I switched instead of doing the right thing and issuing a refund.

"Misquoted" (or lied?) about total cost of streaming aps. Ended up paying almost the same for less service. Very unethical
