Pier & Co is a top notch estate sale company! My family and I always look forward to their sales and have gone to them for quite some time. I have found such unique pieces over the years! I also enjoy going to their showroom to look for items in between. Highly recommend!!

Always enjoy checking all the interesting items in the store. Quality and variety of previously owned items make shopping for my home way more fun than buying new things from any home goods, furniture or jewelry store. Store personnel are friendly, helpful,, and encourage a relaxed buying experience!

Owner Julie Pier is extremely rude and hangs up on people mid sentence in phone calls. She replied to my review claiming for this to have been an accident or misunderastanding, but it was not. She leaves her phone number and asks me to call back, but won't speak to me or take my calls when I do. She is practicing deception and manipulation even here. Many, many years ago, she offered me a job listing items for sale. She spoke to me in person and then on the phone for 15 minutes about it a few days later. When she realized I wanted more than she was willing to pay for commission, she hung up instantly, mid-sentence. She ignored my calls back and eventually blocked my number. She didn't return my call ever. She is a nasty human being. Why would you act this way, Julie? I have cautioned several people from working with you and lost you business because of the way you chose to interact with me years ago. How you treat people has lasting consequences. Simply telling me no and thanking me for talking to you, then ending the conversation, would have been much more ethical than hanging up mid-sentence. You are a bad person and should feel bad for the way you treat others.

This is a fun place to spend if you're into thrifting but also appreciate nice, well made things. It's centrally located right off a main road and also has plenty of parking right in front of the door! This is the storeroom for Pier & Co's items from estate sales and moves. I like coming here from time to time because I never know what I'm going to find! I've found many impressive pieces of furniture, art and fine jewelry for decent prices. The owner was really kind and was able to offer me a better price for a poker table I've been eying for months!

I was excited to receive a projector lamp from P&C via eBay. Packaging was done very well ... UNTIL, removing the box from the mailing envelope. I did not see that the hidden end of the box was missing the closure flap. Of course, the bulb slid right on out and shattered all over the floor. Yep, I accept that I should have opened it over the confines of a "well-padded cradle" ... lesson learned. Still, VERY disappointed. This could have easily been prevented had the seller taken the time to at least tape the open end of the box before packaging. P&C was quick to respond ONCE only: "... It was intentional to not tape that open box. Many buyers consider this a collectors item and would see taping the box as devaluing the item. We sent you the exact item as it was pictured and would never tape it to cause damage to the box. To many, the box is just as valuable as the bulb itself. ... but please do not blame us for an accidental mishap" I understand collectors and their boxes. They are all about the condition of the original box. Therefore, shouldn't P&C have tried something simple like placing it in a sealed, clear bag so the receiving party could easily see the box was missing a flap? The eBay posting did not give any information noting the condition of the box and only one view that totally hid the missing flap end. If P&C's target buyers are collectors, condition and multiple views should be a priority. Especially if there is any deformation or missing parts. No significant damage or missing flap could be seen from the one picture posted on eBay. My intension was to put the bulb into actual use. So, I didn't have much concern about the box other than that it appeared to be in reasonably good shape. That gave me good assumption that the bulb was probably in working order. The box missing a flap renders it almost worthless as a collector item. Therefore, I place the greater blame on Pier & Co. Would I do business with P&C again? Maybe, but understand that if you are an on-line collector, contact P&C to get full details of any item before placing a bid. Although, due to their lack of accepting any blame, it is doubtful you will get the full information. Had I been a collector, I would definitely be crying FRAUD for misrepresentation! Maybe P&C will take better responsibility in the future?

I would recommend Pier & Company for your estate and smaller sales needs. In my experience with this company, I have found them to be very personable and professional. They are community minded and work hard to satisfy customers.
