“I can assure you that I am not a bot or an employee. My experience both personally and professionally, with S&T Bank has been superb! The level of caring and personal attention given by all the employees is second to none. They have always gone above and beyond for me. They provided competitive rates on our commercial construction loan, they helped walk us through the PPP process, and made sure we were not financial victims during a USPS stolen check incident last year. “I have been a member since I opened my first account back In 1971 when I was 12 years old. Back then it was The St. Paul's Credit Union before they merged with Ohio Catholic FCU back around 2016. Can't beat the family atmosphere and stress free environment of a Credit union. Best financial institution for personal loans, mortgages CDs, you name it. The interior is a bit devoid of decor which makes the lobby a bit unsettling. The drive up area is usually very busy during hours of operation, but the workers are fast and deal with customers quickly.”

Have you checked your monthly bank fees lately? I just scored waived fees with a "One Deposit" account. (Technically there is a small fee, but Citizens offers a super easy work around "one deposit" that waives those fees if followed. We're talking set up auto transfer for $1 or more monthly and done. Qualified.)

“If you live in the Akron are, you need to have an account with Peoples Bank. I was from out of town and needed assistance with a transaction & the team at Peoples was absolutely spectacular. This branch has a hometown feeling and I was treated like a local long-time customer. The Branch Manager, Ann went completed out of her way to ensure all my need were met. It is rare theses days, but she exceeded all of my expectation. If you have ever felt like your Bank treats you like a just name & number, go see Ann at Peoples.”
“I wanted to highlight my recent experience with Chase Bank, particularly regarding a hold placed on a check deposit. Initially, the 11-day hold felt prolonged, but Quinn Alberty, an outstanding employee, swiftly addressed my concerns.
After contacting Quinn on Monday, he promptly expedited the hold removal process. Within hours, he personally informed me that the hold would be lifted by day's end, granting me access to the funds by Tuesday morning. Quinn's proactive approach and dedication were commendable. Thanks to his exceptional service, I could proceed with my financial needs without delay. I also spoke with Elizabeth Salas who is the Branch Manager at this location and expressed my sincere appreciation in helping get this issue resolved.

“Do not go to any bank on the first of the month and expect to not wait. I come to this branch and no other due to the fact that the employees work hard to move everyone through the line as fast as they can and they keep a smile on their faces. I've seen on these reviews that the staff is rude and the staff does not help each other. When I am in the branch all I see is the staff helping each other. The only people that are rude are the customers expecting service right away. Its honestly ridiculous, don't you people wait in line at the grocery store, the drive-thru? You also wait in the doctors office. No body has patience anymore and if you don't want to wait in line and see these wonderful staff members maybe don't , no one is forcing you to stand in line. Also the ATM not working is not the staff members fault.”

“I've come here a couple of times now while I currently work in Akron temporarily. I've gotten cashiers checks from here and also used the ATM. Reviewing a bank can be tough because you are dealing with someone's money. Most people either have a really great experience or a horrible experience. For me, my experience has thankfully always being positive. This is a full service Chase Bank in downtown Akron which I love because from where I live in Cleveland, the nearest one is a 12-15 min drive away which isn't bad at all. Still, it is nice to have a bank close to where I work. There is an ATM machine here too so if the bank is closed and you happened to be at work after hours, then you can still withdraw cash or deposit money. The ATM is in the main lobby of the Akron Centre and also next to the entrance door of Chase. SERVICE - Everyone I've encountered inside this Chase branch has been super nice and friendly. LOCATION -- This Chase is located inside the Akron Centre. This location is more convenient for those who work in the area or those who work in the building. If you are just passing through then this may be a difficult location to visit just because you will have to park downtown and we all know how annoying downtown parking can be. There are parking garages downtown with the closes one being at the First Energy building or the Cascade parking garage.
