Ripped off. Liberty Tax has prepared our federal, state and city tax returns since tax year 2018 with following charges. 2018 - $250.00. 2019 - $250.00. 2020 - $255.00. 2021 - $281.00. 2022 (this year) - $395.00. Note that I come prepared with all deductions, mileage and receipts totaled and ready to plug into the appropriate box on the tax forms. Total time spent in their office is 60 - 70 minutes every year. No logical explanation for a $114.00 (40%) increase. Spoke with Jerome at the Arlington office and he was rude and uncooperative. Advised he would do nothing to adjust the charges. BEWARE

Worse experience EVER! Filed electronically and it was rejected in April. Didn’t find out til 2 months later through irs and not a tax preparer from Liberty tax. Made countless appts and no one showed up not once but 3 times.They finally had me come in June to file paper tax with other important documents. Please tell me why I get a call today (October) saying that my taxes was never filed!! They had copies of my child’s info, my id and other important info!! And they never sent it! They have no clue where this envelope is. And the only reason I received a call back is because I called the head office! This place needs to be closed down. There’s no way a person has to come 3 different times on one return! Definitely filing a complaint with the bbb. And hopefully the irs and fraud place can do something about it cuz it’s happened to other people filing at this place. People are still waiting from 2019 as the owner told me today.Never again. Worse experience ever!
