I recently visited Jared to have the battery in my waterproof watch replaced, and unfortunately, it was a frustrating experience. Note, it's a surf watch and waterproof up to 100 meters. After the battery was changed, I showered in it and afterwards found condensation in the watch.
When I called to inform them that there was an issue with their service, I was informed that usually send waterproof watches away for pressure sealing. This was surprising, as I’ve had many waterproof watch batteries replaced before without any issues or the need for such an extra step. To make matters worse, the jeweler did not mention this potential complication before starting the work. If I had known they couldn’t complete the job properly on-site, I would have gone elsewhere. Instead, I’m now left with a watch that isn’t sealed and a feeling of uncertainty about its water resistance.
This experience has left me questioning the expertise and transparency of Jared. I expected a simple battery change but ended up with an incomplete job and the added hassle of needing to find another place to get the watch properly sealed. I would recommend others be cautious and make sure to clarify the full scope of service before leaving your watch with them.

I was in Jared's Montrose OH store just browsing since I hadn't been in a brick & mortar jewelry store in quite a while. I ended up buying a pair of sterling/pearl earrings on clearance. After going online seeking reviews about my purchase I learned that I paid more in store than the online price. The online associate suggested I go back to my local store for a "price adjustment"... this is where my shopping experience became a nightmare! Abe Awad's attitude turned rather salty as opposed to how he behaved a day prior when I made my purchase. I let him know that I would extend "GRACE" since he may have been having a bad day, or maybe my "price adjustment" affected his commission I don't know. Hollie (store manager) was very apologetic for Abe's conduct, but there was no need for her to apologize. I will continue to visit the store especially after living in the area for 47 years, and I was able to convey my thoughts and experience to both Abe and Hollie. Here's to moving onward and upward guys!

I came with my brother-in-law to be to look for an engagement ring and were helped by Abe. He was so kind and knowledgeable. As soon as he saw a picture of what my BIL wanted, he knew exactly what to show him and picking the right ring took no time at all! Abe provided information on prices, discounts, and was not pushy in the slightest when it came to making a decision. He made the process so smooth and effortless and most importantly, fun and exciting. I would recommend Abe and his team over and over again. They went above and beyond for us and we will be forever grateful!
