*this review is strictly for the donation pickup aspect.*Hello! Do not donate items here if you want kind, fast help. I emailed well over a week ago asking about pickup for 2 items. Well at first it was 1 then I added a 1940s radio to it. The first item was a 20s or 30s China hutch. I asked, sent photos, got confirmation. In the afternoon of the 15th I was asked if the 16th was okay. I replied within 2 hours saying no it was too late. I need help to get the items out as I have fibromyalgia and can't lift well. They came anyhow. Banged on my door and left a post it. I emailed asking why they came and I did not like the fact they just showed up. i was then told it "was confirmed via phone" which it couldnt have been because i never got a call PLUS later on i was asked for a phone number because they didnt have one. (We communicated via email) i rescheduled for today, the 22nd. I put the items out late last night with the help of my fiance before he went to work. I had asked them not to knock this time as he will be asleep for work. They came at 11 and told me they couldn't take the items because they are wet. I took a tarp off of them at 9 so they wouldn't have to knock. Guess what they BANGED on my door loud enough for me to hear in the back bedroom with my door closed and tv on. when I have a doorbell. yes, from 9 to 11 they got wet. Its raining. I can't help that. however they werent soaked and could have easily been dried off. These are items in pristine condition that could've been sold for A good price even had the key for the cabniet still to lock. Now they will go on my curb. I wish I knew how to upload my ring video because it was all captured. When I said okay they just stood there and starred at me. What did they want me to do argue with them? no, the items will just go in the trash. Highly disappointed. Highly unprofessional.

Had such a pleasant experience here. The furniture selections are constantly being refreshed - and furniture is sometimes put outside for free. That alone is just incredible. And it's very nice furniture. The men working there today were so nice and helpful, I'm very thankful for them helping me get my couch secured in my truck.

Agree with the other recent reviews. This place is not the great deal it once was. Not worth going out of your way for anymore. I'm sure a scuffed up former showfloor pleather couch for $2500 is a steal for someone but those people make their donations directly and write off their taxes. For the person looking for bargain furniture on a minimum budget this isn't it anymore. We all know it's for a good cause that doesn't magically put more disposable income in anyone's wallet. Still good deals to be had around town for the budget minded elsewhere.

We purchased a nice dining table at a reasonable price here. I would recommend checking out this store if you need anything furniture related. They loaded the table in our SUV for us. Thank you!

My hobby is restoring or rebuilding old furniture. I love buying furniture that looks awful even though it's functional or has potential. A good 50% of the furniture in my house came from Restore. But it seems that's all over, now. All you want is top dollar for nearly new pieces. I'm happy for the profit you made on the Arhaus donation but a lot of your customers, like me and those looking to furnish their homes without spending a fortune have become ignored or not worth your help.In the past I tried to donate a large sofa bed that looked new and a desk. I didn't have my trailer at the time and called for a pickup. Both were refused. Seems you had too many desks already and they found some cat hair on the white couch.I ended up giving them to a neighbor who was really happy to get them.Afraid I agree with the gentleman who gave you one star.I will keep stopping in when I go to Aldies across the street in hopes that you get back to serving the buyers as well ad the homeless. Surely the day will come when you run out of Arhause donations.SadlyMichele Otey

UPDATE: After writing about my own positive experience this week, I read a few reviews from other folks and my heart broke a little bit for them.My understanding is that profits from “Habitat for Humanity” sales go to all the necessities of planning, organizing, promoting, accumulating supplies, gathering skillsets,….. required to bring housing opportunities to our neighbors.I think we all agree, that is a lot of work!Today, yes, ‘Arhaus’ merchandise dominates the store's floor. But as you can imagine, with no Salaried Buyer on staff to purchase specific restock, Habitat for Humanity is at the mercy of our collective donations offered. And what a very generous gesture from Arhaus. No judgement who deserves, or who can afford. Simply, this is what I have to offer, it’s yours. Can you imagine spending money every time you walk into a store?! It’s OKAY to browse. Next time, perhaps, you’ll find that golden nugget like I did.Let’s continue to support our neighbors though this organized and worthy cause, by donating the excess of our own blessings. And financially through our purchases and/or monetary contribution as feel so moved.A full experience chance to share the love!--------------------------------Can't say enough about the generous spirits who operate such a large establishment and cause."Dawn" was so attentive and patient addressing my hesitation concerns purchasing a large appliance. We also talked with "Charlie" who has a quick smile and genuine concern that both donor and purchaser are honored in the transaction. After my purchase, "Daniel", who I had not seen previously, saw me lingering and offered help with any questions. My new stove has been delivered now and there will be anticipated repairs. But the whole experience and kindness, I will recall each time I heat up the burners. And THAT is priceless!

Been going here for years but with the new management i'm disappointed and done. This place has turned into a joke....with take it or leave it attitude. No amount of reasonable conversation will convince Boss Lady or Man that the price on an item is inflated.Obviously damaged used donated fixtures marked as new with corresponding price. It seems that any donated item is priced at retail plus 20%.Apparently management thinks Joe and Suzy Budget will line up to buy Arhaus donated terrible taste rocking chairs for a measly $1000.Arhaus gets the tax write off and Restore gets to order the volunteers to dust the White elephant furniture for eternity. No normal for profit business could survive for a week with this model and lack of customer considerationDonated items, volunteer help, tax exempt status and not a dollar in the register. As things stand the line to the cashier is non-existent and has been for a long time. The place is a ghost town with the few friendly long term employees looking like they seen a ghost. Many times i have donated items to what i considered a good cause. Not any more..Straight to Goodwill.I hope top brass finds this post and considers making some hard changes.Incredible waste of possibilities.

I worked with Rachel, the Logistics Coordinator, on making a furniture donation. She was professional, knowledgeable, and considerate. I love the mission of Habitat for Humanity/ReStore, and it's great that they have employees like Rachel working for them. Rachel is an outstanding ambassador for a great cause!

Donations from Arhaus furniture and they STILL want $1000.00 for a small couch and $350.00 for a rickety outdoor side table. Really disappointed with this.

The “habitat for humanity” on Romig Rd is a joke! They have used chase lounges for over $1,000.00!!!! Tables for $2,000.00 how is that helping any human? Whoever is pricing inventory here needs fired! They are not good at it. Everyone just go to wayfair online and u can get brand new beds and couches for less than they are here and it gets delivered to you.

Stop by to see what was available. Lots of decent used used goods... I'm in the market for lots of furniture and home goods... unsure if I will actually purchase used good vs new goods... great bargains if you're on a budget and considering the mix and matching options.

I love the mission of Habitat for Humanity and I love supporting by shopping at Restore, especially when it helps me out too. I am furnishing an office on a limited budget and bought a new executive desk and artwork at a steep discount. It is the best interior design secret in Northeast Ohio.
