Usually used car buyers be cautious to check all fluids level and engine oil before purchasing from here. I heard someone got used car here that caught fire with in couple of weeks after he purchased, due to lack of coolant, I too got used 2021 KIA Sportage yesterday and didn’t check those things in dealer but I checked this morning. And shocked that coolant is almost empty and engine oil got worst.

From the salesman we had to finalizing the paperwork with fiance, Great Lakes Honda was wonderful. They worked with us to find what we needed and helped us get rid of our old car. I will not go to another dealership again. Wonderful service!

I had a disappointing experience working with Esmeralda. When I inquired about a specific vehicle, she lacked any detailed information and didn’t seem knowledgeable about it at all. Things went downhill when she brought out the wrong car for me to test drive, which added unnecessary frustration to the process. To top it off, she accused me of lying, claiming I had 'promised' to purchase the vehicle if they removed the $1,000 advance surface protection—a conversation that never happened. This was extremely unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable.
Ultimately, I decided to take my business elsewhere and ended up purchasing a 2022 Honda Accord at Classic Honda in Streetsboro. The experience there was the complete opposite -highly professional and pleasant. I’d recommend avoiding Esmeralda and heading to Classic Honda if you’re looking for a smooth, stress free car-buying experience.

***AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO SERVICE***
Their service department does not try to fix the issue. Instead, they slap band-aids on the problems hoping they go away until they feel like the warranty is expired, and then they try to charge you over $10k to fix their shortcuts and laziness.
In addition to misdiagnosing or just outright shortcutting their multiple, failed attempts at repairing a recurring problem with my vehicle, they also outright misinformed me of my coverages... and yes, I have documented PROOF of this misinformation!
I purchased a Certified, Pre-Owned vehicle from a different dealership that had less than 50k miles on it. I also have an extended warranty on this vehicle.
Less than a year later (and while still under the manufacturer's powertrain warranty) the vehicle began to have engine problems. Since this is the closest dealership to my home, I took my vehicle there for repairs.
Over a period of the last 2 years, the vehicle has been back in their shop for the EXACT SAME PROBLEMS 4 different times. I have told them exactly the same issues every time the problems started. Here is what they have told me the problems were so far:
-Try replacing the battery (did that)
-Replace the spark plugs (did that twice)
-Replace the cylinder and head gasket (did that)
-Replace the fuel injectors (did that)
-Replace the fuel rail (did that)
Took the vehicle there in May and they put another one of their band-aids on it that only lasted a month. Took it back again in July and now I've been told that it needs a new engine and I have to pay for it.
They told me I didn't have an extended warranty, which I do (again, I have documentation to prove this).
They told me that they never bothered to look at the root cause of the problem, even after MULTIPLE trips to their dealership.
Their service manager just told me "The service light said to fix the fuel injectors, so that is what we recommended."
He also said that the only way this problem would have been caught is if someone tore the engine down to inspect it.
So when I asked how many times they need to see the same, recurring problem in a vehicle before probing deeper, he did not have an answer. When I asked him why he didn't previously recommend a teardown of the engine, he said he didn't think I would want to do it. "If you didn't like the idea of paying $1600 for fuel injectors I figured you wouldn't want to pay $2100 for a diagnostic."
For what it's worth, I have clear documentation of regular maintenance on the vehicle from respected, established businesses.
I have clear documentation of multiple attempts to have this problem resolved with the dealership.
I also have clear documentation of their staff misdiagnosing the problem, taking shortcuts, telling me false information, and failing to deliver on the assurances that I THOUGHT came with buying a Honda Certified Pre-Owned vehicle with the extended warranty.
And now I have a vehicle with a bunch of band-aids and am being told it is my responsibility to drop over $10k on it to have the engine replaced.
If you need service done at a Honda Dealership - FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!

3rd time working with Kevin Dawson on a new vehicle, and he continues to be great to work with! He was super-responsive, got me a great deal, and he and Colin did an awesome job expediting the purchase and paperwork process, so I could make it back for a work meeting later that afternoon.
