If there was an option for no stars I’d pick it!
We have had two dance competitions located at this place and security is wayyyyy to strict! I’m not one to be mad at someone for doing their jobs but they make it impossible to do anything! Very strict with food, not allowed to use elevators, wouldn’t let my team practice their dance anywhere, wouldn’t let the boys go backstage with the team bc they have to pass the girls dressing room doors, will tackle you if you have a coffee in your hand past 10:30, men can’t even go into the hallway to get out of the building bc it’s close to the stairwell to the hallway with the girls dressing room which is behind doors, and not to mention parking is super far from the front main doors they expect us all to go in and out of! That’s just complaints about security!
The Stage is super tiny! And carpets are disgusting! Looks like someone died in a few spots!
If you are going for a concert maybe it’ll be okay, but omg do not go there for any kind of sport’s performances and competitions! Worst experiences I’ve ever had! Will not be coming back next year to any competitions that go to this venue! 5 thumbs down!

The people who helped with seating were exceptional! Bought my ticket last minute, so my son & I were in different seats. They went out of their way to locate seats together! Did not get here name; black lady with a sweet smile and heart!!
Beautiful theater 🥰

I've been to a concert and a comedy show there. Perfect venue for both. They have a comfortable layout and friendly staff.

Not a bad seat in the house. A small, intimate venue.

The most acoustically perfect venue I've ever been to! Not a bad seat in the house! Truly, a Bijou theater! Akron is blessed to have her

Saw Tommy James and the Shondells, what a wonderful evening. Tommy is 78 years old and still rockin out like the superstar he is.
Had never been to the Goodyear Theater, what an amazing venue, no bad seat in the house.

Very cool, smaller venue to see a concert. The seating is comfortable but there are no cup holders for your drink. The acoustics are nice and there's good visibility of the stage from most seats. Concessions are limited but reasonably priced.
